My mom's s3 been acting up badly keep showing the sim card can't be detected at first (stapler cut sim) should be gold chip worn off.  then sim card has been removed restart problems since last month. First I went and replaced it @ maxis center for RM 25. Working fine during the 2 weeks since 10 March. Now randomly the device will show restart when the sim is not detected.

Okay... will try it soon... but you know, the queue at Lowyat Samsung is crazily long... just bring phone and charger/cable?

as requested, i have 3 extended battery,

seems for me, all of them giv more % then the ori battery 2100mAH.

the best so far is the ori battery  (3000mAh), SOT for me 5-6 hours, screen brightness around 75-85%

second is the sun global batter (3000mAh), SOT for me 3-4.30 hours

iproc battery (2650mAh) additional 30min to 1 hours SOT

3g on all the way..

Just add into the list but not there they are good but just an advise.. Be extra careful when not buying from appointed SME shops like Any Telco, SenQ and etc..

Went to Samsung SC LYP just now for cable replacement.  They asked for receipt, I said didn't bring.  Checked my eWarranty, said my phone was bought last July, so no more warranty for accessories.  Oh well, at least I tried

My answer is no. what I do is clear cache and services once awhile should be running good. Cause I only restarted my phone 4-5 times since 10/2012, My restart is due to i root and unroot and freeze some bloatware...

i just bought one s3. seller say it is ori SME set. box also got sticker, but when i compared with my mother s3 box (original bought from samsung authorise dealer). it seen slightly different in colour. hayaaaaa..   me now very risau! haha

me too sometimes having tis problem when intensive messaging, wat i do was restart the phone or just go n force close the messaging apps. but the problem wil arise aft some times.
well initialy thought so n chg my sim card, bt problem stil persist, one of my fren's s3 messaging apps also behave like tat so i guess it's s3 messaging bug.
may i noe how to chg the mms character limits in s3?
