Why my S3 get connected to Wifi but kenot access? Anybody can help?

but still its disturbing and scary at the same time to know that there a cancer in our body that wil kill us anytime.
and if its strike after ur time limit is ended, u can say bye bye to this world.

Dam, my S3 got snatched by the side of the road 2 days back. Dam motorist dam skillful. Trained to snatch people phone is it. Zzz. Now I'm just waiting for S4 to come out. This is sad.

tried already it very successful but now seems got heat issue. worried that after they repaired it, other part hair wired then it will be even worst than the scenario. by the way, i need wait for 2-4 weeks without hp. hell no.. i need to reply those girls if no i will be ignored.

It seems that the new S3 users here seemed to be confused with a few things..

1) The app that we used to check whether we are having the older or newer version of the chip is just an app to check exactly that. Nothing else. It doesn't check whether the chip is problematic or what problem does the chip has. The developer used the word "insane" to identify the older chip because some users had problems with their phones while on the older chips aka the first batch of S3s.

2) Just because your phone is on the older version of the chipset, it doesn't gives you any special privileges to get any replacement from Samsung unless your phone obviously has problems like it having frequent auto-restart, extreme hangs and lags, or the extreme case, your phone isn't able to boot up aka it is dead. Then and only then Samsung is obliged to fix it for you according to the terms of their warranty. If your phone is running as it should be then you do not have a case.

I bought my S3 last September, all the while the phone (100% stock, SME set) performed very well. Updated to official 4.1.2 the day it become available using Kies.

Since last 2 weeks, the phone started to acting up. 

Sometimes it won't "wake up", have to remove battery and switch the phone back ON.

Sometimes during charging, I curios on why it took so long to fully charge (red LED still light up), then when I try to wake it up, no respond! Have to remove battery.

Sometimes I see the green LED indicating it is fully charged, try to wake the phone up, no respond. Remove battery again!

These "symptoms" quite similar to SDS, the only different is, it can still power ON after remove and reinsert the battery. Should I go to Samsung for a repair? Will Samsung fix the phone if it is still usable?

I cannot replicate my problem, maybe let me observe a few more weeks and see if any problematic apps that cause this to get it's update.  By the way, only installed installed 1 tennis game from Samsung Apps and 2 more games from Google Play Store and the rest were some social and photography apps which are popular and should be clean.

1. Battery pregnant meaning it "bengkak"? Nope, the battery still in good shape. 
2. The last time before I did factory reset, I backup everything using Kies, but it is not reliable at all, failed to restore all my apps and certain settings. Do you have any good app to recommend that could backup and restore full system include apps and app settings on unrooted phone? Freeware is best! 
3. Using Odin (I assume you mean PC Odin?) to flash stock ROM better or "Restore" firmware using Kies better?
4. This is my weakest part to be "garang", afraid get beaten by their stuff...

I won't be worrying to much. Even i did scored around 8000 for several times. But if you find it smooth (i mean for S3 but don't hope much cos it only has 1MB of RAM) , just ignore those scores. And i am on stock.

but im stil got that !
just looking if other kernel can giv better battery life n speed
bcoz sometime my phone kinda hang/ unresponsive when i really need it
like searching for phone contact / opening messaging apps

Yeah of course. Don't u think I Dunno that?  I'm using custom rom too. Stock is for noob.
