wah, exora tyre so expensive

last time using car with 14 inch tyre, not that expensive, now with exora, 16 inch, huhu, think twice before change new trye .. unless the tyre is really worn out, i will stick with stock tyre for now .. same to the rim, expensive also

Just to update, I received my EB CFE standard with beg kecemasan, coil mat with logo & suprisingly, it comes with reverse sensor as well. That is a good deal for me since before I made my order, I've been to few other proton edar branches & all confirm the EB standard didn't have the reverse sensor & the air cond vent for middle row seat. I got both in mine..

Done raytech tinted on my own (proton give this cap ayam brand tint voucher), done the HU, steering & speaker, changed the rm to 17" all in the 1st day...I hope there won't be an issue with proton SC during my 1st service.

1. Was in D mode (never use L mode so far). Maintained cruising speed of 110kmph at highway with very light-footed,  observed rpm was 2500 rpm.

2. it reached 120kmph, but car very hesitate to move any faster, have to really press hard on the gas pedal, then it will faster a little bit. (it was like something is try pulling back the car even you are pressing hard on the gas pedal to make it fast).

So from the reply of other bros, it seems like 2400 rpm ~ 2500 rpm is considered normal for 110kmph cruising speed for exora cfe. Actually this is still quite high rpm even compared to toyota wish that is using CVT as well, which is much lower rpm when cruising at 110kmph (could be due to turbo charged on exora).

Anyway, i think i will get the SC to check and see if software reflash needed.

Was wondering whether anyone here knows where to get the emblem for our ride's steering wheel? Never understand why Proton wanna save on that part.

Also wondering if anyone installed hobbits exhaust system?

It's standard alloy rim actually. The spare is actually rim besi and using it now. thanks to that have to drive other car to go back kampung during CNY :'(

Am thinking of if I cannot get 1 rim or a set of rims within reasonable price then I gonna change all to rim besi :'(

Found this while browsing EOCM group in FB. Its reported that the radiator hose to turbocharger can burst when subject to accessive vibration.

i'm aiming Michelin Primacy ST3 now.
another choice are Goodyear Efficient Grip.

but both are expensive.

Owned EB Premium for 1 year ...problems so far...
1) Engine sqeeking sound during cold start...(i thought it was normal for "turbo" engine) will ask abt the Belt Tensioner in SC in next visit

2) "Rocking" driver seat...1st 1K visit, SC personnel said is by-design...I complained till i-Care...and few months later, SC manager called me back and replaced the Driver seat. So far, no more "rocking".

3) Engine stalled when doing "3-point turn" (i.e. changing gear from D -> R -> D). SC "fixed" it by doing some tuning may months ago. So far no problem, until recently... Engine stalled again when doing a Reverse parking (up a very slight slope). Engine stalled twice. The 3rd time, I stepped on the accelerator at "Parking" brake, then reversed.
Will question the SC again...how can a "automatic" car engine stall?

4) Engine stalled during cold start...seen in the forum, seems to be something related to "One-Way valve"? Will question the SC in net visit.

squeaking sound when in motion or when turn on aircon?

Btw, just got my belt changed at 45,000km cause of cracks and making squeaking sound loud especially aircon kicks in.

The third time that my Exora went back to SC The aircon problem can't be fixed. This time they said there is air in the aircon gas, so they sucked it all out and refilled again. SA keep saying, don't worry there's warranty but its so damned tedious to keep sending the car to the SC :/ Proton oh proton...why is your QC so terrible...

Yeah, EB. Not even a year old. It's not the problem of cold. It's like 5 minutes very cold, 5 minutes hot, 5 mins warm and on and on in a cycle. On short drives in KL, still can take it, but when I need to go outstation, like next month...oh dear oh dear...

Ya, i mean i did have a lot of choice of mpv/suv/wagon that can carry my harp la, test drove so many, but thought exora was great value for money. still think so, but hope no more niggle niggle issues. very embarrassing to drive a car less than a year old but aircon already faulty.

I'm currently averaging around 8.5km/L. 100% city commute.
90% of the time drive economically, 10% of the time floor the pedal and drive very ganas 

I remember someone mentioning before that they managed to get 10km/L quite some time ago
