QUOTE(HarpArtist @ Jan 6 2014, 07:00 AM) My exora had some problems starting recently, sounds like the engine is cold. This happen to any of you? Once the engine even died after starting. I had this problem and it's still going on.Need to keep cranking the engine but it does not start.Only the 3rd time it starts.Dont know if because of refueling too much petrol or what..some people say valve problem. Also the fuel pump price is RM350. |

QUOTE(mrlonely78 @ Jan 9 2014, 09:38 AM) u call pro ice malaysia, then asking about authorised installer near your area. That costs a lot...price is ranging from 900 to 1100 with 3 years warranty. go for authorised installer to ensure the 3 years warranty. installation takes about 4 hours. hehehe. thanks. |

QUOTE(rOnnyJustrOn @ Jan 10 2014, 08:33 AM) Something like this. The silver tank above power steering fluid reservoir. Can use Start-Stop button to start the car right?![]() "Vacuum pump for brake booster, operated via electric. Normal cars get vacuum for the brake from the engine. Without vacuum the brake pedal will feel very hard. Suprima has Electric Vacuum Pump as a supplement to vacuum from the engine. This allows vaccum the moment the car is primed to start. In Preve & Suprima, you need to press the brake pedal before starting the engine. After an overnight the vacuum will leak causing harder brake pedal when you try to start the engine in the morning. The issue goes away after the engine starts. With EVP, you won't get this. Therefore they can install Hill Start Assist (car brakes when on a slope so that you don;t slide behind when trying to move the car). It also relieves the engine from providing vacuum boost to the brake at low RPM, causing more power available to move the car instead of powering the ancillaries. This makes Suprima a bit faster than Preve at low RPMs." Quote from somewhere. |

QUOTE(fireballs @ Jan 10 2014, 09:34 PM) I don't think there will be VSC or ESC for exora cuz preve, suprima all lotus handling..but they get ESC,BA,VSC,and a few more for a car that is cheaper than exora..maybe cuz exora is MPV..This post has been edited by sKypRiNcE734: Jan 11 2014, 04:45 PM |

QUOTE(akubudu @ Jan 13 2014, 03:18 PM) hye..anyone have experience with first major service? im using prime & it past 60k already (70k+). just called the service centre n the asking for rm1k+ for major service of dvvt oil, eo etc & around 400++ for spark plug. its true right? do I need to replace the plug? Yes,exora CFE spark plugs is RM399.It uses HKS high performance plugs.(Iridium).better you buy the plug outside and then go give for service.does my warranty void if I do it outside? your comments are highly appreciate, thanks. CVT oil RM200 and a lot more of things to change.i get this info from exora owners club malaysia,EOCM. If you don't service on time,it's okay. But if your engine got problem then if you still haven't service your car oil, then it will void your warranty. |

Have to agree with some people, the suprima S quality has improved compared to exora's interior plastics. The interior plastic looks better and if you touch it you can feel the smoothness.steering looks good.

QUOTE(HarpArtist @ Jan 17 2014, 10:13 PM) Hmm I had camry 2.4 and innova 2.0 and it they struggle above 120kmph. Camry doesn't sound as loud as exora certainly, but I need to depress the pedal quite a lot, and the steering shakes like hell at that speed (sigh japanese cars always have over light steerings, good for parking but terrible for speeding). Innova...press pedal to bottom also cant overtake a lorry on the Ipoh part of North-South highway, nearly caused an accident. On exora, at least i feel confident that the power is there when overtaking at 130-140 kmph. Stormy is your exora CFE or CPS? All Exora CFE(only CFE model) comes with CVT GB..CPS not CVT. |
