Well, l,m not sure this topic has been discuss before or not. For a good ICE system, l know a good sound proff is a must for our local made car. As l know, there is Dynamat, Lightning Audio in the market. Can anyone list down the price and variety of the sound proff mat here? This post has been edited by daniel31: Apr 8 2006, 06:12 PM

(dynamat extreme) RM 700-RM800 9pcs (dynamat original) RM500-600 9pcs (price will be rm200+ for 2 front doors for 2 layer) Each pc enuf to cover 1 door (18" x 32 around 36 sq ft)
sikadamp 360 - RM30 per pc Each door need 3 pcs to cover up
superlon/insuflex rm20+ for 1 m²
*price above is quoted by my installer last time, price may differ time to time, diff place, installer give diff price...so it's juz a rough guessing
added: Can be DIY for front doors and rear trunks easily even DIY for floor board is not so difficult...depends on ur tools and ur patience Price given is excluded for installation

door panel, roof top, trunk - dynamat extreme, dynamat original, sikadamp, raamat, cascade vb2, dead span * This are sound blocker trunk, roof top - block the low notes to go outside the car, if use superlon/insuflex the low notes will be absorb door panel - again as a sound blocker, this sheets will seal the door panel..and make the door as a virtual enclosure..thus better mid bass effect
under carriage, carpet, wheel arch area - superlon, insuflex * a sound absorber, abosrb all the road noises, engine noises
