not really rattling, like can hear some vibration coming from the door at higher volumes.. like the door panel vibrating against the door frame. i guess i have to open it and see...

but putting in stuff like dynamat and all will improve my SQ and reduce road noise right? will the kapas thing help too? how about foam filling?

If i'm not mistaken, the Dynamat Original is Rubberized Asphalt based, whereby the Extreme is Butyl based.

I would rather say it's an overpriced bitumen roll used for sealing leaking roofs, could be had for less than half the price. No offense. doh.gif

I can't be 100% sure as i haven't seen the thing in real life, but from the looks of pics, it IS in fact bitumen strips that can be bought for much cheaper. Downside is, it melts when exposed in the hot weather for a while(knowing our country's wheather)

Well, i know i don't really have proof, but being myself selling some other dampening material, it wouldn't be nice for me to juz drop into a seller selling similar stuff's thread to say things or request to see then tarnish.

One thing though, i didn't post up RAAMMAT BXT60 for sale in lowyat.net, if you are interested, PM me and i'll provide u the details.

Hi,

no personal feeling. i know your concern on the bitumens and yes it is made of bitumens but this is not the one they use to seal leaking roofs. It's different.

It has been already proven that it can resist high temperature by sticking on to the Wira for few months already and still it sticks well. smile.gif

er, i actually using the real bitumen for roof sealing..been applief for nearly a year....never fall...but i admit it's a bit messy than other material cos it's more sticky and more liquid compare with other material...

but 1 fact i found is my bitumen actually perform better than many many of the brand outside..included the material sold in forums....tested and proved by some soundproof customer.....

Sound dampening material is meant to be stuck on permanently, so... it wouldn't be easy to remove else it'll just defeat it's purposes wink.gif
