Ya, actually I am interested to get EM5-Mark1 + zuiko 12-40mm f2.8 pro lens to go with it.
Is this setup good? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Just replying to an old post, hope you guys dont mind

I just got a pretty nice used unit of Olympus EM5 MK1 together with 12-40 f2.8 Pro and the tiny 45mm f1.8
All i can say is super worth it. Wanted it small, it is small; wanted it to excel in performance, it excel (but to some extent la). Best of all i like to shoot under the rain around pavilion area. And if you wanted a second lens to go with it, any lens from Olympus f1.8 range is awesome, you just need to pick you desired focal lenght biggrin.gif

Some might find that 12-40 pro lens on em5 is might heavier in the front and bulky but i get used to it soon and one handed shooting is not an issue as with the 5 axis. Another reason i joined Olympus

Here are some photo from the recent rally, viewer discretion is advised

I bought a used unit silver EM5 and the Lumix 14-42mm power zoom lens for RM1500 and then i sold off the lens for RM550, so i guess i got the body around RM1k? sweat.gif

sweat.gif Truth to be told i actually got my 12-40 pro lens as a second hand unit also, RM2000.

My opinion on the lens, cosmetically, the 'Splashproof' and m43 logo situated at the bottom of the lens is so easily scratched off sad.gif But optically excellent, win my heart

Do u get your with kit lens / other random lens or just body itself  hmm.gif
as long you take good photo and splashproof  brows.gif  why not  biggrin.gif have u ever consider put the battery grip/hand grip combo on it?
====================================================================

Wonder if any E-m10 user here. What i read is it have both bits and peices from E-m1 and E-m5 icon_question.gif

Truth to be told i also have the EM5 battery grip for a very good price together with the battery.

And this third party grip which look something like this. Much better than the original half grip as this third party one can easily access battery compartment without taking out and have a deeper grip for me which have a big hand.
Dont have camera with me now, practically is just full-set EM5 with 12-40 pro lens.

Actually when i wanted to join Olympus, i also look at the EM10, but i end up EM5 which you can say is older generation with fewer aces up in the sleeves compare to EM10. Since Olympus is all about weather seal and 5 axis IS, so i just go for EM5, as lens is more important than body and that why end up 12-40 pro. sweat.gif
