I'm so envy you guys which is currently the inspira's driver, I'm planning it, possible getting it by end of this year or next year (if nothing great happens after PRU13 ). Since after i'm in love with this car, everyday im looking in this car in the net to search more info until then i walk into Proton showroom to see the car physically, then i know i know more detail about the car than the Proton SA, and the funny part is, he keep convince me to look at Preve

I'm like totally having 'high fever' on this car, and ppl around keep convince me not to get a proton and ask me go for Vios, Avanza, fiesta.. but in a "car lover" mind, this is not a proton, is a mitsu, and there is a far gap in "class" & performance compare inspira over to vios. For them who doesn't look on the technical specs, in their mindset, they will just buy any car with the "badge/logo" other than proton will do..

Hopefully they still have stock for lala by the time you decide to purchase... By then they will be pushing preve and the preve hatchback. The salesman probably has more commission pushing those models as opposed to a 'mitsu' rebadged.

If you are afraid of ppl belittling you on getting a proton, you can alway do what the other camp ppl does, do a complete makeover from a lala to a lancer. Even if you get a Mitsu, they will still ask why not a toyota or honda... as mitsu still does not command a good resale value or as popular.

Nothing will happen in GE13 ..

i been listening to taht since year 2000 .. nothing happen pun .. even if happen also will gradually .. not immediate.. maybe 5 or 7 years down the road..

imagine today u bought a 100k car.. tomorow announce no tax .. 50k .. u will sure dulan rite ?
look at a bigger picture.. those 2nd car dealer .. how ?
the bank whom lend u the money ..
the insurance whom insure ur car .. market value drop half .. how to cover if accident ? or stolen ?

its not a thing will happen in a day or a year.. it takes time..

I mean .. many ppl dare not buy car bcoz of GE13 .. they worry might reduce tax .. this and that .. rugi much ..
but the whole picture ...
even if tax is reduce.. it wont be a day or a year thing.. it will be gradually .. and it will be the least impact..
there is a lot 2nd hand car dealer out there.. all will die if tomolo no tax... who will pay them for the losses

By that time no more lala, or probably so old model you do not want it anymore. While you were waiting, the rest of us have enjoyed our rides. Point is, just go for it, take it, enjoy it, waste money on it, you never know what happens tomorrow...

Then i think u better wait another 5 years. Every year the tax will be reduce 10% - 20%. If u going to buy this year. The tax will keep on reduce the next year after u buy the car. So is better for u to wait all the tax fully reduce only buy la.
