Today I went to install the SuperCircuit steel braided brake hose, took 2 hours, with bleeding and all. After it was in, I could feel a huge difference immediately. The brake bites earlier now, sponginess is totally gone, definitely more stopping power available (earlier also). Mind you, I'm still on stock absorbers. My brakes are many times better than before. Best braking mod ever, even better than fitting aftermarket brake pads. Braking is so predictable now. All for the price for 440.
Conclusion: it's not the soft stock absorbers that is limiting the braking power on the Inspira and causing severe sponginess but the stock brake hose.

And prolly bodykits. i know a mechanic around my area who specializes in lancers and evo xs  he's done overhauls for many other car makes as well. highly recommended. |
