Yeah, you should have it. It has good performance at that price point. Also you can find Dolby Digital Plus- not really present at any other phones.Buying new handphone? Need RECOMMENDATION? V15

1. Brand- I prefer Asus, but any brand is just okay.
2. Budget- Around RM 400. 3. Specs- Great for gaming and great value for price. 4. Type/Size- Anything is okay. P.S: I am going to buy my phone in December. |

But anyway, I'll see if I will buy the Redmi 2.best bang vs buck comparable spec asus would be the zenfone 2 ze500cl @ rm 599 |

QUOTE(Ekash @ Aug 23 2015, 11:26 AM) Thanks. Just added one plus 2.. Of course. Lenovo Vibe Shot, Elephone 97000 and Asus Zenfone 2 (4 GB RAM) has Android 5.0+ Lolipop. And my recommendation is the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML, 4 GB RAM variant. It claims to have a decent camera and with 4 GB RAM plus 2.3 Ghz Intel quad-core processor, I guess it won't be a big problem multitasking and playing games.Leagoo and Elephone phones are much cheaper but with good spec. It even come with finger print sensor. But I do agree, their software might be bit dated, but still got Android 5 at least? |

QUOTE(starz92 @ Sep 3 2015, 07:25 PM) Hi guys, have been using note 3 for 2 years now and so far I am satisfied by it other than the low battery life. Of course you should buy a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: it has Quad-HD and whopping pixel density.I am now considering a change of phone (an upgrade). Any recommendation for budget max Rm2.5k to rm3k phone? Requirement : smooth and high definition. |

Brand: no specific preference 2. Budget: around RM800 to RM1200 3. Specs: good camera, coz she takes a lot of pictures 4. Type/Size. (Candybar, Clamshell etc...): no specific preference Thanks for your advice in advance, have a nice weekend! |

QUOTE(descendant @ Sep 12 2015, 09:06 PM) I need a new phone! My note 2 suddenly died. I'm not very sure, but you can have the Note Edge or 4. Be reminded that they are ex-flagships, but I think you wouldn't mind a lot about it.Budget : preferably not more than 3k Brand : any .. With reliable reputation Specs : good camera with lots of storage Type/size : i like large display Personally I like the note 5 but the lack of sd card slot and the fact that in Malaysia we can only get the 32gb version is a total disappointment to me Plus the glass back gives me some concern as I'm prone to breaking those delicate things Basically... I use my hand phone to take lots of work related pictures like documents so that i can refer back anywhere from my phone Other than that I just use my phone to browse internet, check emails and use whatsapp, fb and waze... Oh and i need it to support multi window I also rarely make any calls or sms So I dunno... Which phone should i buy?.. Sigh |

QUOTE(klchoy @ Sep 17 2015, 09:48 PM) Dilemma. The more I survey, the more uncertain I am on which is right for me. Any advice? You can have Redmi Note 2. That would give a good bang to the buck. And also, Leagoo is not a Malaysian brand, it's Chinese. My criteria 1. Less than RM 1k 2. Supports 4G 3. Can expand memory via SD card 4. Battery removable 5. 2GB RAM 16GB ROM 6. Decent camera (at least 8MP in front) I was eyeing on the following phone - Leagoo Elite 1 - a lot of bad comments on this brand. Phone hangs a lot. Realized it is a Malaysian brand - Redmi 2 Enhanced Edition - Honor 6 - price now is above 1k and battery not removable Any pointers? Was using Samsung S3 which lasted me almost 3 years. Changed the battery and SD once, reset it a few times when it is slow. Final ultimatum was the screen went blank. So time for it to RIP |

QUOTE(Ditto(._.) @ Sep 23 2015, 06:22 PM) need suggestion for Tablet Would you mind adding RM 30 to your budget to get a Asus Zenpad C 7.0 ? It has Android 5.0 Lollipop, which supports 64-bit chipsets (the tablet is 64-bit) that can improve performance. It's only drawback was its poor pixel density, but I guess you wouldn't mind about it because it's normal for low-end tablets. And also, 1 GB of RAM may not be really enough for it, but again, it's a low-end tablet. But I think 16 GB of storage suits your style.budget < RM 500. - any brand - preferably with GPS - less lag - screen > 7 inches for PDF reading, normal web surfing, and watching movie. Thanks in advance |

QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Sep 29 2015, 05:02 PM) Anyone has an idea of how much a new Samsung galaxy s5 is being sold now? Where's the best place to buy it from - online or otherwise? It's sold for RM 1499 in Satu Gadget Dot Com. Bear in mind this is the Duos version of the phone and it's an import. Also this one was last year's flagship, so you might need to reconsider your choice in case you find it quite expensive to you. Thanks very much for your help. |

QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Sep 30 2015, 11:49 PM) Thanks for the info. Pardon me, but what is a "Duos version"? Do you mean that there is an imported model and a locally assembled one? I don't mind paying this price because I would save more than RM1K for not buying the s6 and the features are still good enough for me. The Duos variant was actually dual-SIM and usually imported one has warranty by the seller. I'm not too sure if there's a locally assembled S5, but most possibly there's local warranty included. I'm not too sure about the alternatives though.Btw, are there cheaper alternatives with a camera as good as that of the s5? |
