Hey!

I'm looking for a phone to replace my old Samsung Note 2...

Brand: Any
Budget: Under 1k
Specs: Nothing much, just require to do calls, whatsapp and emails only. Very light user.
Type/Size: Preferably 5" and below...

I was actually looking at Xiaomi Mi4i at about RM750...read up on Xiaomi's data being collected...is it true?

Hi. Thanks for reading this. Hoping for some recommendation from the sifus here. Not sure if there is anything that will fit my criteria but I am hoping that basic phones still exist.

1. Brand: Any. Looking for a basic phone, not a smartphone.
2. Budget: Under 1k
3. Specs: Must have superb battery life (Standby time more than 1 week with on and off usage). Good call quality. Using it for standby at work.
4. Type/Size. : Any

1. Brand : Samsung

I'm looking at the S6 Edge only at the moment.
Coming from a OnePlus 64GB. I've barely used even a little, however that's running cyanogen, hence not much bloatwares and all those when compared to Samsung. (i.e. I have 50 GB space remaining at the moment).
I was wondering if the 32GB variant of the Edge would be sufficient as I would not want to fork out an additional 64GB if I don't have plans for it. For ex/current samsung users, would the 32GB be sufficient for future updates?

2. I was wondering is there a price list of some sort I could use for reference. A price list+ a recommended place for purchase other than telco's would be great.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to inquire, I've tried the Android thread but there was no reply from the users.
If there's a thread I can refer to, could I get the link as well. That would be great.
Thanks in advance. smile.gif

Yes ur right.. Xiaomi, Apple and Samsung and most brand collect data and sends to their server for research and study. It's under the agreement u accept as u first turn on the phone.
But it's blockable if u have a good firewall with Apple being harder to block.

1. Brand: Any
2. Budget: <RM1.2k
3. Specs: Good rear camera, 2GB ram or more, battery life at least one full day.

Note: Tried the zenfone 2 and don't like the camera, not natural enough.

Question: At the moment, is the oneplus one still a good phone to buy seeing that it's more than a year since it launched. It's the one I'm leaning towards now.

Good luck bro with that kind of budget, so many phones out there. You can't go wrong with LG G4 or Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

honor 6 and OPO both value for money.

I'd go for honor 6 due to octa-core, got sd slot, dual-sim. brows.gif

But if you are a modder, then nothing beats OPO. flex.gif

Below RM2K can get Motorola Nexus 6 & Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

If can top-up just a little bit more, can get LG G4 or Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. thumbup.gif

now using moto g 1st gen, couldn't stand the heat of the phone while using to browse the internet and its already laggy.

I already looked for reviews of lumia 640 but the camera quality favors my moto g more and the specs are about the same. May I know which phone to choose within my budget?

my usage of the phones is surfing internet, WhatsApp, some games
