Hi Boss,

I am looking for something that can protect my equipment from lightning and a powerline product for homeplug as well.
Currently i have two wall sockets: (a) connect to and AVR (Tel port connect to phone line) with LCD TV, Sound system, IPTV BOx (b) connect to UPS with two powerstrip (1) NAS (2) Modem + Router + Switch  + AP, cordless phone and a USB Socket to power the fans to cool down the equipemtns

I am intending to unplug (b) and put on a powerline conditioner where the homelug will go, then the extra socket connect to ups with rest same as above. The partner of the homeplug will go to another room that the wireless signal is very weak.[i read the detials from jason ong's blog
[NB: LCD TV, IPTV connect via LAN cable to the switch. Over here in Sabah we at frequently having "dirty power" issue and at times with blackout that take ages to receover]

Please recommend whichever product that is affordable to me and able to acehieve my goal. Thank you.

for your case, you required a PAIR of cal-lab included your partner homeplug side.

it is connected to an aerial antenna that we share with the entire building but I thinking of unplugging it. So
in future will be LCD TV for IPTV Box only

for the wall socket (a), you can use TRM-NIF-3 BU+PE along with SP9201DAF
for the wall socket (b), your can use TRM-PLC-3 BU+PE or MD-PLC-3
for your partner computer side, he can use TRM-PLC-3 BU+PE or MD-PLC-3

Hello

I'm looking for a simple and safe option to the Belkin 8-gang extension. I'll survive even if it's just 6. No need for lightning protection as I have a surge box for it.. Just need something able to support such load coming from one wall socket.
*
I dont have any Cal-Lab models which doesn't come with lightning protection features...

Hello seller,

I'm interested in MD-PLC-3, do you have it? My layout is as below

Wall outlet
> MD-PLC-3
>> Powerline / Power Extension / Standing Fan

Power extension will have
- Desktop + 2 Monitor
- Unifi
- CCTV Recorder
- Phone chargers

Is MD-PLC-3 enough? Please PM me, thanks!
*
1. usually MD-PLC-3 recommended come with PAIR or 2 units at least for the speed optimization within power cable.
2. CCTV recorder via coxial cable or IP network? all cables connected to camera strongly recommended to protect as well for in case lightning direct strike to house roof and surge disperse around ur house.
3. Unifi is fiber optics or copper wire?

No TV connected to my unifi setup.

It's optic connector if not mistaken.

Distance between PC and router is around 50-60 cm.
*

you can use the following models for power protection only as your case.
TRM-PLC-3-BU: 3 power sockets, homeplug compatible
TRM-NIF-3-BU: 3power sockets, homeplug not compatible
MDSC0039: 1 power socket, homeplug not compatible

Let me know if you required more than 3 power sockets on cal lab units.

Fiber optics - devices connected on the extension strip:

Cordless phone, TV, PC (connected to internet via LAN cable), router, gateway (the silver colored ONU), HyppTV (via component input)

Only 1 PC, and the distance is very short (almost point blank range to the router), perhaps about 30-40cm.
*

you may go for TRM-NIF-3-BU for power protection is all the items located on the same table without other devices interconnected...
