I'm in the process of wiring for my new house. Looking for good lighting insulator and found this thread.
All of this is in my living room, please advice which model I should get:
1. LCD TV (3-pin)
2. Speaker (2-pin)
3. HTPC (3-pin)
4. Wireless broadband router (2-pin)
5. Phone
6. Astro (2-pin)
and probably will add some ht stuff (bd player, avr etc).
Looking for one model can suit all the connection and ask the electrical man to 'tanam' inside the wall/
if all the required equipments located the same place and no other equipments involved into...
for tel module, SP9201DAF is a must aka ADSL Spliter Filter...
and the power module u can look at MDSC0039, SLMS2+3 or Twin Power Pack...
here the example below:

anyway, cal-lab doesnt have the models which "hiding" inside the wall...

Hi gkl83,
I'm moving into setia alam soon and plan to do a complete surge protection in my living room. Do you offer free consultation on site? Will this cal-lab protects the equipment if there is a power surge from the incoming TNB power source out there (voltage fluctuation)??
yup, cal-lab can protection against the over voltage from TNB...
but if u means the instability from TNB, Cal-Lab doesnt have the feature which worked as AVR...
i can provide on-site consultation or arrange cal-lab staffs to attend... anyway, cal-lab's setup wasn't a rocket science and easy for users to do installation... assumed i installed for you but u no understand how it work, and in between u plugged equipments which no proposed earlier during my installation, it may cause the back surge too due to your "human error", it happened on previous experiences which cal-lab engineers installed for customers and certified, but customer plugged additional equipments onto their setup when time being and caused back surge...
the most important is users need to understand and to be educate how Cal-Lab can protect ur equipments efficiently without any back surge from other sources, even though installed additional equipments on your current setup you will able to identify whether there have the risk without my consultation... otherwise even u used the MOST expensive or MOST efficient lightning protector against lightning but wrong setup, i can ensure that definitely your equipments still in the risk...
