you can use SP9201DAF.

Take your own risk for any partial protection equipment as the surge will come from any external sources. As one of LYN forumer insisted his recommendation for tel cable protection only earlier and i informed take your own risk, end up his modem dead after few months usage. However those LYN forumer followed the Cal-Lab setup recommendation will gain the most benefits for equipment protection...

The Astro PVR connect with 2 astro satelite cables tight?
From what i see..

(PVR) > 2 cables from dish
( Non PVR) > 1 cables from dish

Note : All 3 cables share just 1 dish

The media player connected with any LAN cable?
Nope, just use usb ex-hdd

1. TV, amplifier, subwoofer, Media Player, stand light

Hi,

is ur TV connected to any aerial antenna or astro decoder?
Any LAN cable connect to media player?
Is ur internet connectivity from Unifi share with other computer or devices via wired LAN cable?

R u expecting all the 6 socket will draw from single cal-lab & wall socket?
or 2 unit of cal-lab for different wall socket?

if the modem router & phone located at different location, you may go for SP9201DSL / SF9812DSL (recommended) for modem protection only...

you can go for 2 unit of TRM-NIF-3-BU+PE for power protection for this case...

If homeplug required in near future, each homeplug required TRM-PLC-3 BU+PE for data transfer speed enhancement as the default Cal-Lab power modules not supported with homeplug...

Can you pm me your contact for more detailed discussion?

I'm not familiar with TRM-NIF.../TRM-PLC....but is there something like those 6-pin sockets. What are the differences between these 2? What is a homeplug?

...edit: I'm trying to search for a photo of this TRM-PLC-3 in this forum but couldn't find any...

Update: TRM-NIF-3-BU+PE photo found...but only 3 sockets each?

if required total 6 socket per wall socket, u need the combination of the following units.
TRM-NIF-3-BU+PE as base unit with 3 socket
TRM-EP-UK2+US1 as expansion unit with 3 socket
The combination of both units and stackable on each other, it will look as this.

Ok. I don't need a homeplug then. Thanks for the link.

What is the price for:
1. TRM-NIF....for 6 sockets?
2. The 1 socket 3-pin plug for connection to the 6 gang connectors?

Thanks a lot

Hi, Good day.

I would like to protect my PC (CPU + Monitor, modem)

Here is my current setup:

AC wall plug > 4 socket Extension > 1st socket = CPU
> 2nd socket = Monitor
> 3rd socket = Modem
> 4th socket = USB charger for mobile

Could you recommend what should I buy and the roughly cost? how is the installation?

*I'm not a technical guy, have zero knowledge in lightning protection.

Hi Boss,

I am looking for something that can protect my equipment from lightning and a powerline product for homeplug as well.
Currently i have two wall sockets: (a) connect to and AVR (Tel port connect to phone line) with LCD TV, Sound system, IPTV BOx (b) connect to UPS with two powerstrip (1) NAS (2) Modem + Router + Switch + AP, cordless phone and a USB Socket to power the fans to cool down the equipemtns

I am intending to unplug (b) and put on a powerline conditioner where the homelug will go, then the extra socket connect to ups with rest same as above. The partner of the homeplug will go to another room that the wireless signal is very weak.[i read the detials from jason ong's blog
[NB: LCD TV, IPTV connect via LAN cable to the switch. Over here in Sabah we at frequently having "dirty power" issue and at times with blackout that take ages to receover]

Please recommend whichever product that is affordable to me and able to acehieve my goal. Thank you.

for your case, you required a PAIR of cal-lab included your partner homeplug side.
Does your tel line have splited more than 2 telephone? Our house under 1 phase electric wire?
