Yes BTU is connected to fibre.  The reason why the DECT phone is connected to DSL splitter is because i need to dial out to my mobile phone if house alarm is triggered. I think alarm system can't support dialling out via voip call.

I've uploaded the picture of the BTU, DECT phone, Wifi modem setup at my home. Of course each of these devices (including set top box need power connection. Please review.

Yes alarm has cable in the telco box at car porch and patched to the phone cable.

do you need more info before you can make recommendation? i will probably need 1 set that has RJ11, power & maybe data protection while the other one just for power protection.

for your case, 2 units of MDSC0039 and SP9201DAF or SP9201ARD with RJ11 splitter will sufficient.
Do let me know by tomorrow so can i collect stock within this few days...

Hi,

Does MDSC0039-FC support Astro cable connection, ie cable from dish connect to MDSC0039-FC and from MDSC0039-FC to decoder?

For SP9201ARD, do i connect the RJ 11 from wall phone socket to this device (From Cable port) and use another RJ 11 cable to connect this device to DSL splitter (in my case)?

If yes for both questions, then i would like to order:

1. 1 unit of MDSC0039-FC (just in case next time want to subscribe to Astro)
2. 1 unit of MDSC0039
3. 1 unit of SP9201ARD

yes, MDSC0039FC can connect 1x Satellite Astro dish

basically alarm system and DECT phone are analog based, you dont need ADSL spliter filter for this case...
just a usual 1-2 RJ11 splitter will do... smile.gif

What's the difference between SP9201DAF and SP9201ARD? If i use SP9201DAF for my device configuration, does it mean i plug my RJ 11 from wall phone socket into one of the port and plug the cable from DECT phone into the 2nd port and plug this device to BTU? Is it supposed to be connected this way? I cant visualize how the connection between this device, my RJ 11 cable from wall phone socket, DECT phone and connection to BTU.

Please PM your phone number so that i can whatsapp you for faster response.

Just got my 3rd MD-PLC-3 from TS. Great service as always.

Highly recommended if you use a powerline system in your house. I don't have exact benchmarks, but there's a noticable difference in stability and quality when using it.

Hi, I have purchased the SFTV9622FC (power+astro+telephone+antenna) to protect my TV which is connected to the Astro Decoder connecting to the astro dish.

Yesterday, lightning strike my Astro Dish and it gets toasted but somehow my Astro Decoder and TV did not get black out. Astro decoder seems working fine, however my TV is unable to display any video signal (blue screen) except for outputting audio signal.

I have tested on another new TV and video is working fine from Astro Decoder. Does this mean SFTV9622FC has failed to fully protect my TV?

My SFTV9622FC is still able to pass electric through (the fuse seems not to blow up after receiving the lightning strike).

UPDATE: 2015-12-04
The Astro man came to repair our Astro Satellite Dish, he told us that the Astro Receiver (black box placed beside TV) is also spoilt even though it can show the Astro menu (It can't connect to the satellite dish on the roof).

Please drop an email to callabkl@gmail.com & callabhq@gmail.com as i'm not working direct under Cal-Lab
Please provide your equipment diagram connectivity while you sending email for inquiry.

Anyhow, Cal-Lab cannot predict how the surge sources come from and caused equipment damages and highly subject how user perform the installation methods. Any surge can over air easily and the partial unprotected cable for astro dish may too near with your TV signal cable.
We always recommended to isolate the protected cables & unprotected cable with a distance as surge can "jump'' across different media easily.

Whats the difference between SF9512DSL and (MDSC0039 + SP9201DAF) if I were to use it to protect phone line + internet (Streamyx)?

I noticed that this SF9512DSL has a green wire coming out. What is that for?

My setup mainly consists of TV with antenna, amplifier, DVD player and HD media set top box. No Astro & UniFi connected.

Which model is more suitable? sftv9622-FC or -MS3?
MS3 stands for 2 UK outlest + 1 US outlet according to Buy-Guide Table from official website. Correct me if i have misundererstood.

Please recommend other models which might apply to my setup. Thanks.

MDSC0039 + SP9201DAF can support ADSL modem and Analog Telephone
SF9512DSL only supported to ADSL Modem only, not for Analog Telephone. Your ADSL Modem may instable if 9512 connect with Analog Telephone.

Belkin using conventional arrestor components.
Cal-Lab using patented isolator design and the design cannot be manufacture by Belkin and others.
