a bargaining skill from me...

when u first ask the price from salesman, they will throw u a price based on their first sight at you (if u are a leng lui, you can get an even lower price  wub.gif )

then from there u keep on ask, got any freebies, cash price how much to show that you very interested... then here comes the most important part..

if you really plan to get from them and their starting price is good enough, pull a calculator from them to you and start pressing... round up a figure and tell them u straight take if price is agreed...

in my case, i bring my gf and i hide behind... wait my gf ask for the starting price, then i slowly come in and my gf fade out  biggrin.gif

i'm able to get my xe1 + 35/1.4 + Fuji original w126 for a total of RM4100... (talk until my mouth also thirst and dry  icon_idea.gif )

Thanks for sharing.

here's my bargaining skill.

Step 1, check the net / friends and various resources to get the lowest possible street price
Step 2, Go to reputable shops and tell them this is the price and ask them to match the price
Step 3, if ok. Pay. Done. if not ok, Go to next reputable shop until you get the price

My question to Fredrik of http://www.fujix-forum.com

QUOTE
Hi Fredrik, since af is faster now, can u share whether auto focus faster or press ae/al button to focus faster?

QUOTE
If you are asking which one is faster (AF-S + shutter vs MF + AEL/AFL button), the latter is probably a tiny bit faster - but they are both so fast I don't really see a difference between them. I switch between the two, keeping the camera at AF-S and switching over to MF when I need to.

Using x100? Btw did you ask them before you shoot? Or shot in the face, then give a smile and nod, then ninja away...? Nice portrait you have there!
*
Ya X100,

Most of the time, shoot 1st then nod and smile, seldom ninja, sometimes, if they already notice you when you’re moving into place, I usually gesture to my camera and point finger showing 1, which suggesting permission to take 1 picture. No need to wait for their reply either, just shot and nod / smile.

Quite satisfied with a few of them, but not all that great. But still ok, since its all taken within a noon. So not a bad "keep" rate

Im also quite interest to see how the same set of pictures fair in color.

Anyone here can point to me a store (in KL) with X100s ready stock? I need to use the camera this weekend and prefer to buy it urgently.

Thank you
