why do you want to get a second hand D4 when you can get a brand new zoop/puck pro for less than that price? after all the only different between zoop/puck pro and d4 is just the size. you will find it hard to see from the small display u/w...

plus 2nd hand no warranty, and what if the previous owner like someone here ownself change the battery one... later go dive masuk air...

yeah, actually all also can change yourself... the only thing different if you send to a dive shop. they will do chamber test for you. see whether do you want to pay for professional service or do you want to save cost. But when you send your suunto d-series to replace battery, they will change your o-ring also.

so conclusion

1) change your own battery - RM 10, new battery ; risk = flooded, dive comp gone
2) change your battery from authorized service center - RM 150, new battery,o-ring FOC 1 logged dive + warranty
3) change your own battery, send your dive comp for chamber test, RM 10 + RM 50 = RM 60, new battery, safe but no new oring + void warranty if you have 1.

so choose wisely

who say suunto cannot? ask chartise...

yeah, get mares, but lithium got lifespan one mah... we can change battery, can you?

- can charge
- save cost

Disadvantage
- more thing to carry
- battery cannot change
