Ping to NA is worst in terms of actual numbers. You'll range from anywhere between 220ms to 350ms depending on time, state of the undersea cable, server congestion, and the use of tunnel software/your net. However, your spikes are lower and the latency remains stable.

Ping to EU is better, you'll range from anywhere between 190ms to 350ms. However, the spikes in your Internet happens more frequently.

I've been a player in EU since launch and still play there. Look me up if you're on Fraya, in-game name Sehr.

For casual PvE content, you can clear/fill your roles perfectly fine with some effort and help from gear with these numbers. PvP (un-equalized) is impossible with anything above 100-120ms. For equalized, it's challenging but doable. Anything above 250-280ms will still kill you though.

Well, the ping is better to EU than to NA. The game is questionably better overall on NA, although I digress.

I wouldn't regard it as Pay2Win just yet, although getting gold and gearing up can be done much easier if you have lots of $ to burn.

Active on the most populated servers. It will boom again this Tuesday with the Brawler's patch.

The game was originally IP/region blocked on NA for Asia and some middle east countries, so most TERA players in SEA started off in EU (there still are players here from SEA).

You get much lower latency vs NA but the support isn't as good as NA's.

Well, just level off a Brawler. The timezone difference is +/- 7 hours so, it's still better than NA by a longshot.

Well, they don't have IP block initially, but now they've imposed a block on making new accounts from countries in SEA.

They're everywhere. There is an Asian guild in Fraya and they're big, with mostly mixed players. You'll find SEA players here. I believe the guild leader is Malaysian too.

Nothing, EU gets patches earlier than NA nowadays, as well as costumes (in surprise boxes, of course).

For everything else, for SEA players at least, it pretty much boils down to latency. I can't tolerate NA's latency so sticking to god damn Tera Gameforge Edition.

If you wish to join my guild, you gotta be level 65 and quite active, as I play regularly. Not expecting you to contribute anything though, but once you join you get access to extra +5 power and crit rate and other stuff I'm working on.
