I am interested in this game and i dint play arma 2 b4. I wonder if my comp can run this game。Need some suggestions.

Processor: intel core 2 quad q8300
window: 32bit
ram: 4 Gb
graphic card: nvidia geforece gts 250

If you're running 32-bit your actual ram will be only 3.5GB.

Should I get Arma 2 or Arma 3 ? U guys still playing arma 2?

firedamage: Our group members own both ArmA 2 and 3, currently t3q's server is set up for ArmA 2 because it still offers a fuller experience than ArmA 3 Alpha.

Buy ArmA 3 now while it's still in Alpha price and it will only get better in the future.

If you want to play with us now buy ArmA 2: Combined Operations. Granted we won't be playing it far into the future but it's still a great game worth having, playing and learning about.

i really hope they improve the the engine to utilize our machine better.

look like i need to change processor..fx6300 or 8120 good enough for this game?

arma 3 got issue with amd processors, if u r changing processor due to arma 3, get an intel i5 or i7 2nd gen at least.. and if u can spend abit, maybe get the haswell processor?

eh, arma 3 don't rike amd proc? i thought gpu utilization punya pasal ni. hence low fps.

not really GPU problem, it's because the engine not utilized to run multiple core that's y ur CPU bottlenecks ur GPU capability. Need to tweak some .ini files to make the game utilize the GPU more than CPU. I've been lurking around in their forums and majority of ppl having below 20 FPS are all AMD users

If u check ur GPU stats, u will notice the game usually only utilize half of ur GPU's prowess lol

anyways, those that haven't purchase the game.. better do it fast, BETA is just around the corner
