For my situation with Unifi, changing router doesn't solve the packet loss problem. So please don't waste any money to try out.

anyone living in high rise building can tell me ur experience playing DotA2 with Unifi?

because right now idky i have this awful disconnect always every 5 to 20 seconds and is annoying like hell.

currently using the high residential default equipments.

If anyone having same problem with me and have it resolved please point me what should i do to get rid of this lag!

Is weird that our DotA2 server is in Singapore yet, i usually play games around the globe (US & JPN) and no lag what so ever, just DotA2 only having this issue! Please help!

Volvo server issue. Not unifi.

It's been like this since after TI4. Don't you guys feel stupid for funding volvo now?

I'm living melaka.
Like most of the people stated above...
I received lagness for dota2 since about I think 2 months ago...
So its unifi/steam problem? Nothing to do with my router or modem?

Streamyx 4Mbps, same issue.

ping <100ms but packet loss 10~20% consistently.

Total shit.

Most sensible thread title. Not sure why 'dota2 on unifi' thread is suggested while others like 'massive lag' are closed.

The topic is about lag, and not the service itself generally.

But yes, what I do wonder is if there are people on unifi/streamyx who do not face this same issue. Only us? or everybody else too?

Played in the afternoon, perfect at ~20ms with 0% packet loss.

Now at 2130, ping is higher at around 100 with slight packet loss.

I believe the peak is around 2200 - 0000 where ping will stay above 100 and packet loss is consistent.

Been happening for a week now.

Seems like people from other countries are not complaining.

I think it's something to do with TM.

Using 10mbps, also experience this issue, packet loss really high, can't even play smoothly.
