IMHO, some ppl just take the BEM's bullsh1t too seriously. if you're really capable, an engineering degree should get you a job anywhere in the world, provided u scored relatively well.

QUOTE(andrienne @ Aug 28 2007, 12:18 AM) why not? this is malaysia, the Boleh-Land. everything is possible here.do you know that the government doesnt recognise the top china's university which has better reputation/ranking compared to our infamous UM. why? our government is very 'protective'. you got what i mean? we ALWAYS has the BEST education quality back at home, THE VERY BEST QUOTE(jasperng @ Aug 28 2007, 12:22 AM) yea, EC exam is not easy thing +_+ and it costs a lot if you keep repeating >.<. But IEM is easier compare to EC( from what i heard from my lecturer). i bet that u must be sleeping in the class. EC exam paper and IEM paper is the same as IEM purchases the paper from EC, and held the test at the same time as EC test. IEM paper cost cheaper as it doesnt consist of final project/research for part 2 and part 3. in other words, the 5 technical papers in EC and IEM are the same. the only difference is, IEM papers are marked locally where else EC papers are sent back to UK for markings. p/s : there are more details about it, i just cant remember. QUOTE(Enigmatic @ Sep 18 2007, 04:11 PM) Walk to uni? TTS5 is kinda close by. I usually go to uni around 10pm and come back by 4am or 5 LOL!! Either that or just camp there overnight. It was peaceful when only the foundation students were there though. no maxis, wired and wireless. both r unavailable Or you can opt for Maxis broadband, but I went and ask before, it seems they don't have the service there. Well if you're desperate you can try out DiGi's EDGE plan promotion, damn nice promo but DiGi tends to have signal drops around the TTS5 area. |

from what i heard, some circuit board at the main power supply burnt thus whole uni suffered black out, including the hostel. the only place that had electricity was the IT block since they're using back up power
i was at there that night, about 2am and the power suddenly cut off. a lot of student lost their data while doing assignments there. |

QUOTE(FCUK89 @ Oct 24 2007, 01:13 PM) Lol..which Starbucks are you at? does he mention that the contractor is dead? coz he should be dead by now. LOL~Anyway just now my Economics Tutor was saying that our campus contractor was digging for new resources and accidentally hit the power cable.. It was hard for us to know whether he was joking or not, as it was a little related to a question in our tutorial class. Plus his facial expression put us in confusion... |

So they have the right to do so dont get me wrong, i'm not being racist, i just tell based on what i saw. the bus was packed like hell, with plastic bags.. locals were coming back with like 3 to 5 plastic bags, i myself got 3, but i think each of them at least got themselves 7 or 8 and above.. |

QUOTE(eXPeri3nc3 @ Dec 2 2007, 02:13 PM) I haven't really got the time to read the new timetable yet. it;s on saturday 11am from SA to tesco kajang, and 2.30PM from tesco kajang to SA. please note that if you missed the bus, you're on your own. Tesco Kajang? Cool. I bought something there 1 month ago and it's a defect, never got a chance to go back there to change. It's time to try the bus... p/s: tesco kajang is not able to keep me shopping for 3 hours. i had my lunch there, shopped until i'm pretty bored yet i still have to wait for 45 minutes. someone should suggest that the bus comes earlier.. 2pm would be ideal |
