I dont use this to monitor. I use bloomberg to monitor... Hehe

It is more for checking new reading material and see top and worst fund performance. Also which funds transact the most in fsm... Kepo kepo a bit
*
bloomberg got apps? smile.gif but bloomberg one show like 1.2 instead of 1.2345 like tat.. so u dunno up or down..

Go MSCI website better then tongue.gif

APexJ small caps has been steadily trending higher, higher highs + higher lows, it looks a bit precarious on the chart hmm.gif

But not very often we get discount for Hwang funds icon_question.gif

Hang Seng back in the red...

AmAsia PR doing much better compared to local REITs stock oh.. 20+% return vs 6-8% return.
*
QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Apr 20 2013, 10:55 AM)
If talking on purely yield basis, local REITs better, because u don't have to pay management fee to the fund manager. E.g. portfolio yield 5%, but 1.5% management fee, u effectively getting yield of 3.5% only.

But AmAsia Pacific REITs is fairly good at juggling its equity exposure, i.e. reducing holdings when REIT valuations are too rich, and increasing equity exposure when REITs got beaten down. That adds value to investors.
*
oh ok.. i forget am pacific REIT is regional rather than malaysia focus only lolz.. so REIT fund is still a good buy in long term? well, if property bubble burst then.. haha

Malaysia exposure very small only...biggest is Singapore, Australia...land is scarce in Lion City, REITs well supported.

oh ok.. wat's ur take on REIT then? still good growth potential?

FSM analyzed that bond is not so interesting now.. but maybe they wan persuade ppl to go for equities.. i now only holding abit this osk EMBF.. bonus came abit late, now no more discount sad.gif

THis is my current holding:

Alliance Global Equities Fund 8.29%
Eastspring Investments Asia Pacific Equity MY Fund 3.93%
Eastspring Investments Asia Pacific Shariah Equity Fund 4.14%

U pulak Eastspring Investments fan biggrin.gif

U got VERY LITTLE allocation for bond...Hwang AQ >50%! Very aggressive portfolio sweat.gif

Why not buy another bond fund, say Hwang Select Bond and then top up your other equity funds?
*
my investment very sikit only haha.. as i said, hwang is 50% becos initial investment 1k, others all RSP ma, so u know my amount not big hehe.. so now is ok to buy bond? i see this HSB is like all time high at NAV.. will it become bottleneck there? or for bond it is normal for the NAV to go up and only drop significant when they give dividend?
