Please fill up the list if you're interested, understand and accept my disclaimer. Kindly add [ * ] without spacing infront of your name. If you have not read disclaimer, I strongly suggest you do so. I don't wannna do charity show ended up with lawsuit whistling.gif

Disclaimer: These sohighness effects could all be placebo as I have no proof nor data to support it. I've discovered this all because of a stupid accident, and I like the feeling. I thought I wanna share this affordable add on for the rest of budget modder and placebo worshiper. If you find no improvement in your car after install this thing please don't blame me. Placebo are subjective, my butt is different than your butt, so you have all the rights to complain you don't feel shit that I felt. Anyway, grounding cable will not do harm to your car unless you short circuit it with POSITIVE energy(even without ground cable your car still catch fire when that happened). So, having the cable in your engine bay will only make things better and no harm done after all(again, unless you short circuit it). Do remember I'm not responsible for any damages caused(if any lar, ground cable yo), use at your own risk.

I know ar. Just because the pillar is AFTER the slight corner, and just because of that wavy corner, all those buses & trucks slow down 9 9, some makcik thought got accident or what also slow down and see, and I always forgot that's the high risk area. Slam on the gas pedal, speed pass every slow cars with fierce face, then see a hensem guy squat infront of that pillar doh.gif

tumpang lau. i wanna ask. my car is make in 2011 and i registered it in 2012. this week need to renew insurance. can i know whats the price of my car. and whether let the proton dealer make for me. the bank make for me or make insurance sendiri go to insurace company. since the bank askk 20 1.1k with road tax the car dealer rm912.00 only. is it cheaper i go sendiri
*
It's according to year MAKE not register. Insurance rate is regulated in Malaysia, if 1 quoted you cheaper, another more expansive, the different IS definitely on the total amount of coverage. For example, bank quote you 1.1k premium because they insured 20k for you, whereas car dealer may be only quote you 19k for RM900. If ayam not mistaken, your car is FLX CVT Exec, meaning your minimum coverage should between 30k ~ 35k. Which directly translate your premium as RM990 for 30k, or RM1100 for 35k. Meaning that to say, the BANK is honest, giving you full insured value. Incase if you crash your car you no need to pay for under insured due to average clause. Don't ask me why, I've already explained earlier. More reading at below links:

Haha, my point is why make ur car look like another car. People will say u copy mah.

Jason, ayam not a skirt modder, but I totally understand the term of "RICER". I borrow ckdenion's concept, yes everybody wanted their car looks nice. Howeverthefuck some of them wanted their car to be not only look nice, they wanted it to look UNIQUE. They wanted their car to have a different look than any other cars. They wanted it to be the only car that have their outlook changed beyond recognize. So, it's true. It doesn't matter the damn car looks like CRZ or RX8. Subconciously the idea were built base on existing design simply because they're not a designer. If they're able to produce an outstanding skirting that does not make the car looks like a vacuum cleaner and widely accepted by the public, god damn it they must the those bugger that works with TRD Sportivo that can changed a normal dugong to a dugong that has a vacuum cleaner tip + spoiler.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Ricer
QUOTE(Urban Dictionary)
(Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt)

A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

- Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
- Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
- Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
- Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself
- Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire
- Clear tail lights and corner signals
- A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)
- Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case.

The "ricer" attempts to make their car "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined...

hmm.gif I give u a scenario:

You were driving at the middle lane, taking your sweet time enjoying your drink, looking out from windscreen to enjoy the morning breeze on freeway. Suddenly a MyBi approached at high speed. It was from the fast lane suddenly cut to middle lane & make a late braking to glue on your tail. It high beam flashing u then pretend over taking but then fall back & continue tailgating & flashing, what would u do?
  1. drop gear/engage L/S,slam on gas pedal.
  2. gradually move to the most left
  3. emergency brake
  4. handbrake
  5. throw the can of unfinished coke out of the car so it hit the car from behind

No need tonite TT. My answer is below:

Gradually move to left lane to see his intention. When he follow, then I emergency brake. Normally tailgater proceed with cautions in the first place, so normally they able to brake in time and you'll pissed them off. Then drop gear WOT. When he chase, throw the can of unfinished coke out, it will either hit their under carriage or strike a jackpot if hit their bonnet. At this time, car from behind would be busy looking at his bonnet and or paying more attention trying to figure out how much damage has done. Pull handbrake and wait for new bumper claim whistling.gif Or if they emergency again... most probably they'll end up in longkang ady whistling.gif most left lane yo. Then can pretend see nothing and drive away yawn.gif

My case is, the MyBi eat road curb during emergency brake 2nd time. Atleast 1 rim gone for his case whistling.gif I hope 2 lah. Who in the right mind would cucuk a Shawie early in the morning when the poor little red Shawie dribin at middle lane sumore not speeding. I've lipot nearby pulis stasen as below:

"Incek, tadi gua nampak belakang saya keleta ada satu bijik maivee sudah langgar divider. Gua takut pemandu ada cedera, sengaja mali lipot tengok mau kasi hantar ambulans kasi dia ka? Nombor keleta Wxx9xx4, tempat kejadian Jalan xxxxxxxx xxxxx Batu xx. Gua talak turun tolong sebab gua pon takut manatau nanti dia kemalangan tipu, mau kasi rompak saya." Then the fella walkie talkie a bit, I'll have to wait to confirm by ronda that I didn't make false lipot. After like 10~15 minutes, the sarjan say I boley balek. Memang got 1 MyBi picah tayar on the roadcurb suspek bawak laju hilang kawalan since got long tayar mark. Abang pulis ask whether want good citizen, can leave IC and apply. I say no thanks because ayam a good citizen whistling.gif Then I left.

Get ready for saman. Road curb very cheap only I think rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(wkwong91 @ Mar 9 2013, 01:15 PM)
how about fuel consumption? drain like water? coz my fren using BLM said lik drinking water...  blink.gif
*
BLM is 2008 technology.
IAFM - 1st generation of Air Fuel Moduel in our local production car, adjust intake length to maximize power output
Uses 16bit Engine Management computer to manage
Manual AchiPockai gear box, ratio too close good for sprint but bad for FC. 4spd automatic GB too heavy for such small engine.
Bestest spec also only 1 airbag. If kosong spec, don't even got color on the bumper, what do you expect? Safety?
Doesn't have USB input, lower spec can't play MP3 at all even on a DISC
Average fuel consumption is 20cents/km for most BLM

FLX is 2011 technology.
IAFM+ - 2nd generation of AFM, much precise on air fuel injection.
Uses 32bit engine management computer to manage, much more precise
Manual GetRag, ratio improved to be more balance with sprint against FC. Auto is no longer fix ratio gearbox, instead it uses puller, they call it CVT from well known PUCNH manufacturer. Getting a CVT will have almost similar fuel consumption as a manual, meaning to say that why trouble your left foot? Unless you enjoy being punish by KL traffic like me.
Even the lowest Standard spec already equipped with 1 airbag.
Despite people say Clarion is rubbish, but I think its quite sufficient especially as a stock head unit. got USB and AUX input, can play MP3 just like any other standard player nowadays.
Average fuel consumption is 17cents/km for heavy footer, and can achieve 13cents/km if drive properly like our representative guguman86

Yes your friend not wrong about BLM drink fuel like water, but don't compare it with FLX(latest model), coz they're using different technology whistling.gif

If talk about 2nd hen, then it's entire different story. First thing first, what's your bajet like? FLX 2011 kosong spec still doesn't have airbag, but selling at price around 30~35k for 2nd hen value. Whatever you do, don't buy FL coz the used car value is exactly the same as FLX, whilst it still utilize the 2008 BLM technology. If you drive manual, basically BLM Manual is good enough, and the price for 2010 BLM M-Line is around 25k currently. Drive carefully, beware of right foot, you're safe with your fuel consumption even if it's a BLM. If you're auto worshiper, better wait for FLX CVT then. From what I know, FLX CVT standard spec only start to equip the compulsary driver airbag after July 2012. Don't giam siap on saving small money on the air-bag, coz it's impossible to add after market airbag unless this is what you want

user posted image

Other than that, buying used car is solely based on luck. It's quite impossible to justify how the previous owner trash the car before they sell. If you get lucky, you get a good car. Don't blame Plotong make rubbish car if 1 suck at picking a good 2ndhen kar whistling.gif I hope this tiny little thing can help you to decide la.

work around ur bajet. if possible, try to make your monthly installment affordable instead of burden. Many peepur forgot need to standby for maintenance, after buy car no money repair/maintain then only curse say Plotong make rubbish whistling.gif For example, make your adjustment like below

Bank allowed loan for monthly installment usually 1/3 of your salary.

So, if your salary is 2100, bank will allow you to take loan for monthly installment of RM700/month. Don't forget, if you do that meaning you spend extra on petrol, service maintenance every 2~3 months and also yearly insurance & roadtax renewal comes up to RM1000. Paying that 1/3 of your salary on a car and paying for the extras, you cant buy any other thing anymore. Probably can't even afford to have a girl friend, unless she's richfag. You sendiri continue the story I don't wanto know what happen next whistling.gif

Instead of 1/3 of the salary, why not make it more affordable?

If salary 2100, you take loan but repayment down to RM400/month. Either adjust your repayment tenure or increase your down-payment. So you have extra 300 as saving for petrol, roadtax insurance, and if there's no any other adhog repair, in the end of the year you may actually saved up a bunch. I think after the repayment may be 5 or 7 years, you probably save up enough to buy a new car ady icon_idea.gif
