Don't like stock feels? Want to have it your way? Unleash your Nexus 4 starting with basic bootloader unlocking & rooting and flashing custom ROMs / files / etcs as you wish!

Additionally, it is recommended for you to learn and do these using manual way via adb / fastboot so that you can learn the underlying processes / procedures before using Toolkits or Softwares which does it for you. With this way, you will have at least basic understanding on how it works which may help you in the future such as when you encounter problems; these basic understanding may come in handy.

user posted image Nexus 4 Proud Owner List

Instructions:
To add yourself to the owner list, fill in the form [CLICK HERE]
To view detailed owner list, view the spreadsheet [CLICK HERE]

The owner list in this thread will be occasionally updated, based on the speadsheet (Credits to tcmean for the spreadsheet & form)

Note: Names added between 19 - 23 January 2013 are mostly lost tracked. Check the spreadsheet here to see if your name is in there. If not, just re-add your name by filling in the form.

Note#2: All the duplicated entries in the spreadsheet will be treated as one (e.g. multiply entry for a single LYN username).

Note#3:Please only add your name into the list ONCE, even if the side-infos (e.g. Bootloader unlocked? Rooted? ROM? Kernel? CPU binning? Hardware version) are inaccurate, it doesn't matter as long as your entry is there. Duplicated entries will only incur more works to the thread starter. Your cooperation is much appreciated!

Total of 259++ proud owners and it's still growing strong..

Since 4.2 update, phone gotten slower... and lags till Nova crash. Going to wipe clean and start fresh.
*
The 4.2.2 update you mean? I'm using Nova too but so far yet to have encounter any force crashes yet.

Could be some culprit-apps you installed that is causing the lag, but then yeah, if the culprit is unknown, starting a-fresh is a good choice as it eliminates all other possibilities.

Wanna share with you guyz here.

From HTC Tattoo, HTC Smart, HTC Wildfire, HTC Desire, Garmin Asus A10, HTC Incredible S, Samsung Tab 10.1, Apple IPhone 4s, HTC One X, Samsung S3, HTC Butterfly (GF using it) till now Nexus 4. (Phones that i used before as a few are being used by GF).

NEXUS 4 is the best among those phone that i used before all these years!
*
Wow, even if I backtrack my device history I'll only end up with:

Nokia 3310 > Nokia 3210 > Sony Ericsson w610i > Nokia N79 > HTC Desire HD > Nexus 4

No! Saw it last time and I was like shocking.gif

Anyway try out PA ROM first then since you're in dilemma tongue.gif
I'm actually tempted to try it too, but really hate all the steps and aftereffects of flashing a ROM (which is why I opted for Nexus) cry.gif

I've sort of rewritten the manual rooting guide as the XDA one might be confusing for newcomers. I'm not sure if it's detailed enough and yet simple to understand or not. Formatting (especially indentations) is one of the issues, gotta fix it next time when I have time laugh.gif

Comments & suggestions to improve are greatly appreciated!

Setting > battery > press on 'Screen' > it'll show you the "Time On"; which most people refers it as SOT (Screen on Time).

Another value that people will take note is the hours on battery. Usually the higher your SOT, the lower the hours on battery will be

Did you disable your Java Script on browser? You'll need it enabled for it to work.

Or are you on Mobile version of LYN forum? I've only tested it on Desktop so far.
