Following guide doesn't mean you must stick to it 100%. Understanding the game's mechanic is most important.
If you want a 6-link from the get go, Tabula Rasa is your most affordable choice.

Lemme guess, that guide also uses Kaoms' Heart and Xoph Blood.
Good luck with your exalt drop... you gonna need it.

You need to be at location higher than level 60 to start getting item with ilvl over 60.
Hold ALT key while hovering on an item, it will show you the ilvl.

if you guys are REALLY patient.

create a few new characters (shadow preferred)

do the beginning area, kill everything then kill hillock (boss at end of area). DO NOT GO TO TOWN.

you can only repeat this after logging out for 2 minutes as it takes 2 mins for the server to reset the map.

i recommend leveling 1-2 other alt characters to help kill time.

once a character hits level 7, ignore ALL monsters and just rush for hillock. a random uber hillock will spawn. killing him gives you a powerful unique sword (auto 6L) that can scale to end game. NOTE: once you kill uber hillock, he will never appear for that character ever again but the sword is a guaranteed drop.

if uber hillock does not spawn just log out and wait to try again.

may take some time but if lucky a tabula rasa would also drop somewhere along the way. giving you TWO six linked items that makes your game much easier.

Still, doesn't mean guarantee get it when you hit lv7.

its not a guarantee, its merely a requirement.

i was lucky enough to get it within 5-7 runs upon level 7 but dumb enough not to realize that its limited to once per character.. did AT LEAST 20 more runs before finding out...

also i would always kill hillock anyway as theres a chance for tabula

24 challenges done. THAT WAS FRUSTRATING AS HELL.
Dunno why I even bother, the wing looks like shit, in general MTX reward this time looks like shit...

Also, for chaos orbs farm..
Does that mean I need to be level 60 before I could get any eqs for lvl 60 or I need to be level 60 and in act 9 before i get access to level 60 maps?

u cannot neglect hp when it comes to end game, for the nodes you will have to travel far to get the nodes, not just around the area. more nodes the better

for gear, you have to aim for those that gives you high life per item. either buy or slowly farm, but those with good stats and high hp is quite expensive.

Beside accessing your character in-game, they are fully accessible on the website or with 3rd party tools.
Just go to PathOfExile, login and click your character portrait.
You can use the website for testing purpose on how to manage your tree for example.

If you search for "Maximum Life", it will highlight all the nodes for you. Here's example on my Scion tree siding towards Templar area.
Take all the nearby life nodes you can.
I believe I have 4K life by the time I finish story, and 5.2k at lv90. Not much tbh, people would usually suggest hitting 6~7k.
My tree "travel" is too much, making me lack in points to get more life...



Aside from that, you'll likely need to look into Life Regen as well, they're all nearby.
Aside from THOSE, you'll also need method to keep your life filled in battle. Eg: leech.
Unfortunately the leech nodes are really far south. Leech from gear (glove, accessories) are mostly physical leech only.
Elemental leech you can get from unique item like Doryani's Invitation (belt), make sure to buy the correct elemental version.

On gears, you want to look for item with at least 50 flat life value.
Flat life value can goes above 120. Strength also give life, 2 strength = 1 life.



We generally don't use that. It costs too much mana reserve.
That's why we cap resist with items, be it gear, accessories, jewel, or also resist on passive tree.

Use mana reserve for Blasphemy+Enfeeble curse, Herald aura. For pure elemental build we use Anger in place of Herald.

New method of hillock farming = 1 char needed only.
After kill hillock, logout, login again to same char, same map instance.
Check if got uber hillock, if no, keep spam logout login same character.
Optionally kite hillock near to your spawn point.

GGG possibly patch this later who knows.

Yes my build is heading to all thosw important life nodes. But I wasnt so sure how to increase flat hp? I mean those nodes are all percentage increase. So Im hoping hp from eqs would help. I didnt know not much flat hp available.

I keep on dying now. But i just keep pushing again and again.

Also how do people farm those good orange eqs like ngahamu axe??

And I just got myself one wildfire gem. Now I need one more.

Ngahamu axe is so improtant to me.

Can someone also tell me the point of own 'house'? I managed to get npcs to level 3 but I never use anything at my own house. I only have that table i believe for enchantment or enhancement idk. Can this help solve hp prob?

Item with good amount of flat life. Each of your armor piece, ring, amulet, belt.
As mentioned, they can goes up to 120+ life per piece. Strength to life is 2:1 as well.

Pure luck. Some uniques drop from specific bosses however. Check wiki for specific item you want to look for.
If no specific drop location mentioned, then it's pure luck.
Is it mandatory to use this axe? No, of corse no. There's various other ways.

Level up master, so you can use their crafting station to craft specific item mods without needs of gambling for it.
You see pic above why the last line's font is slightly lighter? That's crafted by using master crafting tool.
You also get daily mission by inviting master to hideout.

Is it better to buy umm 1 chaos for ngahamu and then work the sockets from there?
Like the one has one or two sockets and we just use gems to increase the sockets count?

Hopefully it gets to 6?

Unless you already have a 5/6 linked chest or tabula rasa then go for it

The tree has be changed again in this new league. You don't need to travel to the east to get Vaal Pact anymore.
Vaal Pact also have changes.
