QUOTE(fotosintesis @ Jul 5 2016, 11:49 AM) socket in passive, ascendacy? whoahh..didnt had time to check out those stash tab!! Indeed, I cant identify certain dropped gem on act 1 Still has no adrenaline rush like my last time sockets in passive trees are literally sockets that you can put jewels into. jewels can have 2 prefix and 2 suffix total 4. jewels can be crafted as how you would craft an item. the RNG is humongous but if you imagine getting 10 jewels with +6% hp & +10 all res & 10% global crit chance & 10% increased damage would be crazy. ascendancy is something like subclasses. its getting hate and love as the community is split between "subclasses kill diversity" vs "its a buff and encourages diversity". each class can specialize into 1 of 3 different specializations which have their own mini passive tree and very unique notables. desync more or less has been solved. i dont know what pumps u up but u could give it a try again. try the new league

QUOTE(fotosintesis @ Jul 6 2016, 12:36 AM) I've always spent my time in new league, no worries.. Guess there's gonna be another 3 variant in each build guide la wehh.. Never had any problem with Dr sync unless I'm into popping cyclone build last time. Most of the time, me either with arrow build or crazy trap build.. Both were my prime for map farming host and run. Guess I'm gonna loose another thousand hour lah kor. just do it! btw poison/chaos damage are now more viable QUOTE(fjoru103 @ Jul 6 2016, 01:42 PM) Hi all, Hmm just wonder so now there are 2 platform? Anyone have the link? Saw there is Garena and Steam? use international https://www.pathofexile.com/loginsteam is also good. but most internatinal players like me stay away from garena

if you guys are REALLY patient.
create a few new characters (shadow preferred)
do the beginning area, kill everything then kill hillock (boss at end of area). DO NOT GO TO TOWN.
you can only repeat this after logging out for 2 minutes as it takes 2 mins for the server to reset the map.
i recommend leveling 1-2 other alt characters to help kill time.
once a character hits level 7, ignore ALL monsters and just rush for hillock. a random uber hillock will spawn. killing him gives you a powerful unique sword (auto 6L) that can scale to end game. NOTE: once you kill uber hillock, he will never appear for that character ever again but the sword is a guaranteed drop.
if uber hillock does not spawn just log out and wait to try again.
may take some time but if lucky a tabula rasa would also drop somewhere along the way. giving you TWO six linked items that makes your game much easier.

QUOTE(digitalifelesss @ Dec 27 2017, 05:12 PM) 2017 Winter Expansion: Path of Twilight Strand : Uber Hillock Still, doesn't mean guarantee get it when you hit lv7. I don't feel I have the luck. its not a guarantee, its merely a requirement. i was lucky enough to get it within 5-7 runs upon level 7 but dumb enough not to realize that its limited to once per character.. did AT LEAST 20 more runs before finding out... also i would always kill hillock anyway as theres a chance for tabula

OKAY GUYS POE2 EARLY ACCESS IS COMING THIS WEEKEND!
heres what you need to know (copy pasted from my alt acc)
POE2 is a diablo clone, you have access to 6 classes which then can have 2 different specializations (ascendancies).
Gameplay wise, its a mix between getting a good build/gear and actual player skill. players are encouraged to actively avoid telegraphed attacks that hit hard tho weaker but faster attacks could be mitigated by defenses.
This game is in EARLY access, they plan to add more classes and each class would have 3 specializations/ascendencies once the game officially launches.
The game is "functionally complete" at this point where the game's end game has already been fleshed out, the campaign is in complete where you only have access to the game's first few acts and will need to repeat the acts at a higher difficulty before being able to access the end game. on full release there will be no repeats as new acts will replace the repeated acts.
There are some weapon classes that have not been revealed yet and we do not know if they will be available during EA, such as swords and daggers.
Weapons, Skills, Armours are NOT class locked. as long as you fulfill the stat requirement you are able to use them. tho some ascendancy locked skills/abilities do exist in the game.
IS POE P2W?
when the game officially releases it will be free to play. but whether its purely free is debatable as the premium stash tabs give so much value and saves so much time it becomes almost compulsory. but to most players we will consider it as an acceptable in game advantage as you are not paying for in game power. there is NOTHING that you can buy from the ingame store that can grant you player power. You can buy in game cosmetics and premium stashes. Premium stashes saves a huge amount of time and is the only "player advantage" you can buy from the in game store.
i personally consider poe as a "free to try" game where once you've tried and enjoyed the game you can then purchase premium stash tabs to a level that the game feels comfortable to play with less tedium.
however, since the game is releasing in Early Access first, you DO NOT have access to the game unless you buy a 30 USD supporter pack or obtained an EA key from other means.
so either you wait for the game to officially release (estimated between 6 months to 2 years from now) or you could obtain a key to gain EA.
what happens to you EA gear/characters/progress once the game officially releases?
you get to KEEP everything you earned. but the caveat is that all the gear/stash/characters that you have will be marked as "Early Access Only". you can continue playing with them but you will be locked out of the live servers. if you continue playing an EA character you can continue earning wealth and gear but it will all be marked as EA. Anything marked as EA will not be able to interact with non EA counterparts. it is as tho playing on an offline server where you cannot interact with other players. you will not be able to party or trade with non EA players. so you have a choice of either continuing your EA characters but would be HEAVILY ENCOURAGED to just restart a new character and play the game anew once the game officially releases.
Other monetization info
Players can buy point packs or supporter packs. Players are heavily encouraged to buy supporter packs instead of point packs as supporter packs tends to have "more value" as they tend to come bundled with cosmetics and other goodies rather than just points. the point values between a supporter pack and a point pack is EQUAL. so its almost always better to buy a supporter pack.
Supporter packs can also be upgraded at a later date so you would never feel FOMO for not buying an expensive pack from the get go. However supporter packs are replaced with new packs every 3-4 months and DO NOT RETURN. so there is SOME FOMO as some cosmetics/effects that are tied to supporter packs can no longer be obtainable once they leave the store.
it takes around 30 to 60 USD worth of points to buy up all the premium stashes to fully enjoy the game. Buying more than that is up to the players discretion and some players are fine with only a small handful of premium stashes.
All stashes/cosmetics bought are "cross game compatible" where possible. If they can logically work in both POE1 and POE2 they will work in both. if you buy a sword weapon skin in poe1, in poe2 you can use that skin too. but if you buy a skill effect in poe2 where the skill does not exist in poe1, then it will not be usable in poe1.
The devs intend to maintain this "cross compatibility" where possible even in future iterations of the game so any purchases made waaaaay back in poe1 would be able to be used in a hypothetical poe5.
Early Access begins this weekend.
I for one am hyped for the game and will be jumping in
