Aside from GrimDawn & Diablo, this is the other ARPG in the top 3 list and is always recommended whenever anyone asked for APRG.

How is the graphics nowadays? Upgrade? If I start fresh, will I able to catch up?

graphic improvement is always happening bit by bit.
they added global illumination a while ago, making overall lighting better, but still, a bit of custom ReShade & screenspace RayTracing shader goes a long way as long as your machine can take the hit.
aside from tons of new areas, some areas are gradually getting make over, such as the starter town is already using the enhanced version that planned for POE2.0.
one of the big focus of POE2.0 definitely is graphical overhaul. Obviously all these takes it toll on performance. They are trying Vulkan support now, hopefully will make the game runs better in the future.
generally you won't see much problem when playing alone, it's only in party play (or you playing ridiculous meme builds) that the amount of effects can bog down the framerate.

in term of improvement that are actually so important we cannot live without : lockstep netcode & lootfilter.
rubber banding is almost not happening anymore with lockstep netcode, instead of the old predictive netcode.
lootfilter allows filtering out junk loots, it pretty much works like CSS web coding.

since everyone start fresh every 3 months on a new league, there no such things of unable to catch up.
of course, the only issue for returning / new player is - YOU GOT SHITS TONS TO LEARN
if your last played is before the existence of Act10... well, pretty much just treat this as a completely new game.
the end game mapping mechanism had been changed 3 times since then...

HARVEST QUICK START: HARVEST SYSTEM 101

IMPORTANT INFO : SEED CRAFTING LIST (bookmark this)
the TLDR version:
- almost all currencies crafting capability is included
- ability to use meta crafting function similar to those exotic currencies
- exchange 1 currency for another, eg :10 chaos for 1 exalt
- roll socket, links and colors
- modify specific type of mods on item : eg spell damage, resist, life, etc
- swap an item to another item, eg: div card, unique, scarab, key, etc
- sacrifice a map to recharge master daily or create specific kind of map, eg: influence map
- sacrifice a gem to gain part of it's exp as consumable "Facetor's Lens" or GCP

HARVEST EVENT:
- finish story act to get a free Korean dragon hat; detail
- kill the ultimate Harvest boss in the first week to enter draw for cosmetic rewards; details
(get access to the boss by complete all three of the T4 seeds)

oh new season started.....

- Arcanist Brand is AMAZING for trigger utility spells, replacing cwc. Now you can trigger 3 spells in a 4L for absolutely free! (previously with cwc you can only do 2 spells in 4 link)
- Learnt that it was stupid to put guard skills with CWDT. Because guard skill don't have casting animation, can just bind it to LMB and have it auto cast whenever you move

HARVEST thought:
- there are too many seeds that give reroll, essentially just chaos orb function. Frankly, it's not THAT useful unless you're into crafting end game item with good bases. Though you can use them to roll your maps.
- I only consider a few seeds are potentially useful, even then they give RNG crafting option upon harvest. Eg: link crafting you either get 3, 4, 5 or 6. Not guaranteed.
- all other less useful seeds essentially just plant them to hope fot T2/T3 drop and then convert them into fertilizer (condensed).

My lootfilter setup for seeds:



RULE of planting these seeds:
- just spam the junk T1 and turn them into fertilizer or roll map
- plant useful T1 at one spot, especially those socket and links one, harvest them only when you have the item wanted to craft.
- only plant T2 when have >20 of them to ensure you get enough life force to craft Horticrafting Station. Primarily use junk T2 for this purpose.

FARM LAYOUT???
- don't fxxking matter. You don't need those 99.999% efficiency layout to be good.
- the mechanism is so simple, no point in over-complicating and turning it into Factorio or Satisfactory.

you either didn't meet the tooltip requirement, or you playing area zone too low level.

i setupthe garden follow this map, everything the same except crafting stations which i cannot do now. the thing in tier 2 seeds cant grow is lack of densed lifeforce, and i do not know why the dispenser so noob one, it only pull from the nearest tank and will not pull from farer tanks, since all are in connection nearest tanks are still empty.

your connection just messed up somewhere for sure;
otherwise just do it the EASY way - move the storage tank.
I wouldn't stick to any of those "optimized layout", their ideology is "NOT to move any structures",
and frankly I find that severely rigid and making things more complicated than it needs to be.

if I just move storage tank (or whatever I needed) to the spot where I needed them to be,
then I don't need to care where I store that storage tank, nor do I need to care about constructing all those frigging cable highway.

if you cant get full equipment you cant proceed

already fixed. quite late to find out the store caraft is so good.

this league not really enjoy harvest mechanic, but the harvest crafting mechanic is the BEST by far today but not go to CORE. shit. if not i just play standard league.

This league tested 7 builds, the most i ever played

1. Cyclone Max blocked Gladiator
- finished 10 atc; 5L only; bore, very slow

2. Stack Str Spell cast Vortex - not even start any Lab
- finished 10 act

3. Low budget Assassin HoT - Insane Clear Speed low budget is hard to fight boss
- medium boss damage --> faster than my previous stacked Herald build
- most expensive 6L impulsa 2.5ex

4. Siphon & Barrage Wand Deadeye
- on paper dps millions but when i play feel bad even with 576dps wand (10ex)
- feel not strong for this kind of ex spent into it;
- sold the wand for 30ex

5. Champion Tordano Shot Phys. Impale finished
- not really strong even with 500phys. bow and not feel to invest more ex

6. Saboteur mine Ball lightning
- finish 10 act easily
- but cannot even do white map, keep dying - deleted char and will never play miner.

7. Assassin CoC CI Nova Max block 72 - Very fast Clear Speed, Melt T16 boss, guardians and Sirus A8 easily
- finally completed my wishes for this build
- finally understand EVERY CORE mechanic in this build attack per second vs cooldown recovery; and how to avoid stun and ailment
- REALLY strong REALLY expensive; but low budget can already feels the dps
- 15ex 6L-white Armour explosive; 15ex amulet; 5ex tailwind boot; 1ex ring; 5ex shield, 2ex belt; 5ex medium jewel, wow now i realized is 50ex alr in this build with the rest items
- continue to play in standard; upgrade 25ex shield, upgrade 25ex enhance helmet, upgrade large jewel

this league also crafting two 6L items, one spent 700 fusing and another bow spent less than 10 fusing; and manaed vaal enlighten to level 4; first time in life
