it means exactly what it means...
unlock the 3 sockets by doing it's requirement, then put a favorite map there for higher chance of dropping.
eg: if you like Atoll then put Atoll there so it drops more often.
Although the rate or effectiveness of this system is still very unknown.

take a break first. already reach T16 myself. But the favourite system is a bit painful to unlock without buying maps, haven't unlock any so far.
you might want to wait till GGG patch the game a bit before fighting Sirus, a lot of complaints recently.

this league 1st time sirus level 0 , last phase 5x get one shot, last phase he just repeat that shit. done for this league.

i saw a lot of gila build ppl tested in 3.10, example: max size char, cleave whole screen; exploded + chain is very hot
