My Transcend is giving me SD card error on startup. Card works fine though. Any idea?

P.S - Boy Lumia 720 crashes A LOT.

crash? as in when using certain app or just in home screen? mine crashed twice, once when using whatsapp and one when using youtube.

Came across a lot of positive reviews/comments on the 720's camera quality considering its price point, and have been interested ever since.

How well can it capture text from a distance (i.e. whiteboards, notice boards)? I can't find any relevant sample shots to make a decision. sad.gif

look forward to those pix bro. I was considering that snap on type but I worry if its enough protection cause I once dropped my galaxy W from abt a meter top first on car park road. The W was safe but the flip case shell cracked. It would have been shattered if I didn't use flip case.

Abt crashing, I had some freezing instead when using IE. I just locked the phone and unlocked it everything back to normal... So what happened here?

Pictures are up! Hmm about the crashing. Maybe alot of apps were running on the background? As the 720 only has 512mb ram probably it couldn't take it. Possible explanation for freezing and crashing? hmm.gif

Oh and owners let me know so i can update the first page. smile.gif

Haha yeah, the exact reason i chose black. It looks so good on the red phone. White wouldve been nice but white covers just get dirty too fast. Yours is white phone right? Can try for brown or red snap on biggrin.gif

about the crash,

did you guys check the date last updated everytime wanna install apps?

my rule of thumb, if year 2012 and before, the apps is for windows phone 7,
only install most recent updated or year 2013 apps..

check every apps and games, if you had to check it one by one, by all means, do it,
if you had to uninstall, do it too.

crashes also a popular issue in early days of lumia 920 thread,
but when i come up with the rule of thumb, and everybody seems to agree with it and no more crashes after that..

but, newly release apps also may got bugs, but it is much easier to detect lah if u already buang all apps for wp7..
when crashes after install new apps, u know the culprit is who..

but if u not filter out wp7 apps and just install every apps u see, then problematic la..

Based on most photos in the gallery linked from the first post in this thread [link], I'd have to agree. smile.gif

But imo, it's not something consistent across all images. Some of the L720's outdoor shots seem desaturated in comparison to the L920 and L820. (or it could just be the other two oversaturating the colours)
The presence of a yellowish/reddish tint in a couple of the L720's photos is unmistakable though.

Sometimes i wish my 920 doesnt have ois or at least can turn off ois, because if wanna take document picture sometimes fail if i position the handphone in awkward angle..

if straight up no problem, bug if the paper lying on table, problem abit if wanna take picture, the ois kicks in, and picture come out blurry abit.
no longer valid since i already diy the fix.
