Nokia Malaysia facebook admin said this when asked whether the update will wipe out the data or not,

I upgraded to Portico like to 2 months already and forgot to go to advance and turn on the function keep wifi on when screen times out

I never wait for Nokia Malaysia to release their official firmware update. I'd been using their first touchscreen smartphone 5800XM, N8, PureView 808, till now Lumia 920. They always delayed for like at least 2-3 months when other countries already got the firmware released. All the while I manually update my phone. Last time using Phoenix, and now using Nokia Care Suite.
My Lumia was flashed to Portico on the first hour I received my phone and never have any weird issue or restart at all. Now already flashed to the 1308 again. |

if im not mistaken, Nokia Care Suite is the Main program while NSU or Nokia software Updater is one of the subprogram inside Nokia care Suite.

what is this NSU version 2.0.6? mine is showing version 5?
 btw do not update Nokia Care Suite cause latest ones will need to input nokia employee id and password... assasin creed and earthworm jim... i have it but i dont mind if its lost after updating it cause i rarely even play them... |

Let say u have paid app or games installed or u get paid app for free bfr. Dun wori if u didnt backup the data. U still can get the app ot games for free, just reinstall using ur pc.
