And nokia have a huge market in india. Lumias are selling like hotcakes.
While blackberry may depends on indonesia, because in indonesia, people dont ask for phone numbers, they ask for your bb pin. Lol.
Looks like wp will win the battle of the 3rd OS. Since BB currently only have the z10 targeting for the high end market.
Malaysia need more ads. I managed to get 6 of my friends switched to lumia 920 though biggrin.gif

You can "developer unlock" your phone to install self developed or unpublished app in the form of .xap(iphone is .ipa) file You can too install cracked apps to your phone, however, there is no cracked apps available. biggrin.gif

Most of the companies that are providing smartphones allowance for their employees are encouraging them to use Lumia due to it is built in with Office 365 which support cloud computing as a lot companies now are utilizing it. As a work phone it is actually doing very well.

There are various methods to push .xap file to the phone. For a developer, theres an official tool to do this, but u can google for 3rd party xap push tool. Same method like pushing using visual studio.(im a windows and windows phone developer). Maybe youre confused with the store sd xap installer.

5 out of 10 budget phone...  rclxub.gif  I found it hard to believe. So far budget lumia phones are 610 & 620 only? 710 also maybe...
I don't think Lumia is that famous anyway.
*
It is, in Russia especially. 610, 710, 800 (cheap by now) and now 620 is common.

QUOTE(zero_kbom @ Mar 18 2013, 09:41 AM)
I'm currently studying in Dublin, Ireland and I can see that Lumia starting to gain traction around here. But its not the newer ones. Mostly its the old Lumia 800, which can be found here for only 130 Euro from carriers.

Not to mention, carrier is big here, the notion of sim free phones are unusual, unlike Malaysia.
*
In UK and USA most people are tied to carriers; in USA, unlocking a carrier-locked phone can be illegal. No way, i prefer paying higher for a phone than paying only 200 bucks with no freedom for 2 years.

Does anyone knows how can i project my nokia lumia 920 screen on the laptop?
*
I don't think you can do this. But if you want to show your pictures on the laptop, you may use photobeamer app which is pretty cool.

Does anyone has recommendation on L920 car mount? I use very cheap car mount, then it did not stick anymore after few weeks. LOL

Preferably dashboard car mount if possible.

last night full charge 8.30 p.m., lots of whatsapp group messages, 3 incoming sms, 1 7-minute outgoing call, now as i type i still have 72%.

camera havent tried fully yet, automatic settings picture a bit sharper.

No. Stock non-Portico. I think those battery monitoring apps really suck the battery down.

I second that. Battery apps tend to drain the battery very fast. I am using Battery by Enless Soft Ltd which does not drain the battery but not the quickest in updating the status but still better than nothing.

Also I notice if the data network is always switching or got connection but very low bandwidth then the battery drain is very fast. BTW, I am pre-portico but still get 4G and battery drain is negligible.

everything is back; contacts, sms, apps and games also it will re-download, but not saved game progress. if got the 'download pending' error, it means you need to change region to go to the market where you downloaded your apps.

By the way, I need a pro guide right here to manually update my Lumia 920. I'm using Win xp, is it possible to do that or I need a 7?

What type of software that I need to download? Is it Navifirm + Nokia software updater??

Thanks for your sincere reply.
