Ok... btw can i use a fan from a PSU and add it into my CPU instead of using a house fan?
*
Add into your CPU ?? You mean the casing or the processor?

If processor, then need to make sure the fan fits the heatsink.

If you mean casing, then of course you can, you can add as many fan blowing in or out as long as your PSU can support and got room in your casing tongue.gif

Ok thx alot dude, but the fan from the PSU can be added into the casing?

Btw, i managed to overclock my graphic card. Core Speed from 249MHz to 329MHz. Clock Speed from 333MHz to 473MHz. I didnt use any extra inner fans/outer fans for this. Issit ok for me to overclock it that high?

erm...

i dunt think that GEFORCE 4 came with a temperature sensor...

erm...

maybe u could use an external temp reading sensor...

or u can install a better cooling system for the card... just to make sure it gets sufficient cooling biggrin.gif

GOOD LUCK biggrin.gif

gf4 no temp sensor.. jus use a casing fan blow at d gpu... jus incase if its too hot.. or simply apply some as5.. wink.gif

Does clockspeed increments lead to heat rising?

I don't think so. As long there is no volt modding involve....your GC is ok...

think of it like an engine...It doesnt make any diffrence if your rev it at 3000 or 7000 RPM ( keep in mind that engine is stock based)

2-3C increase i think
the clockspeed increased isnt high to burn ur GC, as long as the fan dun rosak and no artifact showing should be no prob
if u scare then jus leave it at default speed lo, OC mx440 doesnt make any diff sweat.gif , it doesnt make u able to run latest game at better solution or increase even 2 fps...
OC mx440 is jus for fun, unless in around 2000-2002 tahun, it is for performance, now is onli for fun
jus my 2 cents

Yeah, i was just overclocking for some knowledge... Anyway im gonna add a fan facing the GC using a fan i took from an old PSU. But for now im not using it yet... Would it get too hot without the xtra fan?

erm....

i prefer to just have a fan blowing at it to cool it down...

but antonio has a point...

ur not doin any Volt MOdding that makes the GPU really hot.....

Antionio, GPU overclocking lain skit dari CPU oc tongue.gif

Incresing ur core/memory will produce heat and using a good 3rd party cooler may and can improve ur graphic card oc'ing.

My 6800gt max temp using 3Dmark05 or rthdrib(very good program for GC oc'ing smile.gif) was at 66C at stock 350/1000 core/memory and when increasing the core/memory to 400/1100 the max temp was at 68C, and of course a 3rd party cooler was used.

i think ati tools there write word quite big, "core speed", "mem speed", "set clock", "find max core", "find max mem", "scan artifact"...try it urself, but dun try til burn a!
