erm...
i dunt think that GEFORCE 4 came with a temperature sensor... erm... maybe u could use an external temp reading sensor... or u can install a better cooling system for the card... just to make sure it gets sufficient cooling GOOD LUCK |

QUOTE(CyberTroop @ Apr 4 2006, 10:23 AM) Well there isnt any artifacts when i loaded it, im just afraid at this settings my GC will get too hot or something since im not using any fans. Btw is there anyway for me to check the temperature? i dunt think that GEFORCE 4 came with a temperature sensor...maybe u could use an external temp reading sensor... or u can install a better cooling system for the card... just to make sure it gets sufficient cooling This post has been edited by zahri: Apr 4 2006, 08:52 PM |

QUOTE(CyberTroop @ Apr 5 2006, 10:44 PM) Yeah, i was just overclocking for some knowledge... Anyway im gonna add a fan facing the GC using a fan i took from an old PSU. But for now im not using it yet... Would it get too hot without the xtra fan? erm....i prefer to just have a fan blowing at it to cool it down... but antonio has a point... ur not doin any Volt MOdding that makes the GPU really hot..... QUOTE antonio_zth Does clockspeed increments lead to heat rising? I don't think so. As long there is no volt modding involve....your GC is ok... think of it like an engine...It doesnt make any diffrence if your rev it at 3000 or 7000 RPM ( keep in mind that engine is stock based) |
