kapok is not that bad if you know how to sand down the nut.
but beginners wont know how to do that.
if you string it with extra light strings, put a magnetic pickup, it can give quite good tones. serious.

For beginners, there are many to choose from.
yamaha F310, cort ad810 or af510 smaller body, epiphone, fender, ibanez.
they do have decent beginner guitars

when you are better and want to move to a better guitar, i strongly recommend against yamaha because their guitars except f310 are overpriced in malaysia. if u really want a yamaha, go to singapore to buy.

there are good value solid top guitars from epiphone, cort and tanglewood.

Saw few online shop selling f310 at the range of 450-500 also but wanna ask is it safe to buy a guitar online? Like will there be a fake one or having defects on it? Didn't buy things online and a guitar newbie so I don't know how to check the guitar and got a bit worried 😂

You can check the retailer with us. I dealt with musicbliss before (not shipping though) and they're good.

Still it's best to visit the shops and try those guitars yourself.

Hi, can i know if there are any acoustic guitars other than f310(seems too pricey for me) for my first guitar? (actually learnt for few months when i was very young but gave away my old guitar) As I plan to buy a cheap one, maybe a second hand then play for some time first, and if it's not 3min temperature then I will invest in better ones.

U want cheapo guitar, go to that shop in jln silang downtown. Nowadays hard to find cheap guitars because every guitar is imported and USD = RM4.3 thanks to you know who...

Online search for qwenkay. They sell low end guitars there.

It is recommended that if u buy a cheap guitar, bring it to a friend who knows abt guitar to adjust it for you. Normally the nut and saddle may need sanding down to make it comfortable to play.

If you do not have kawan that can help you, u need to spend more to buy at least a yamaha or epiphone
