Only works on deodexed rom. Flash in CWM. You may wanna backup first but should not have any issues.

DSBS and Greenify are two totally different apps that should improve your battery life. Using either one is good and using both together will be even better.

DSBS controls your wifi and data and apps as a whole, puts your device into sleep

Greenify allows you to hibernate the app that you want

If you DSBS whatsapp, you still can receive msgs when you unlock screen

if you greenify it, you will receive msg only when u manually launch whatsapp

I tested on the app LINE

If you are not rooted, you can buy DSBS, it really helps
