Not a major wakelock, if you rooted, under alarm section in bbs dumpfile you will see alarm wakeup for LED notification. From your dumpfile, below wakelock need to be reduced.

AudioOut_2 (1013): 2 m 39 s  (159 s) Count:29 0.5%
SyncLoopWakeLock (Android System): 1 m 45 s  (105 s) Count:936 0.3%
*sync*_com.android.contacts_Account {name=EM, type=com.google} (Google Services): 31 s  (31 s) Count:35 0.1%

"wlan_rx_wake" (): 35 m 41 s  (2141 s) Cnt:(c/wc/ec)1335/0/1335 3.9%

1. Go to Viber setting and check 'use system sounds'
2. Go to whatsapp>setting>contact>untick show all contacts
3. Disable google account sync. Make it manual sync if you can live with that.
4. Assign static ip in router setting for your note 2 and disable ipv6. (don't ask me how to do this. Router setting may be vary)

I itchy hand and followed your instruction up there except for option 4 because I'm not at home now.
Guess what? My phone went awake all the time without me noticing, straight one blue bar. sweat.gif
Not sure which is the culprit now, restored back option 1... Will try one by one. sweat.gif

he says it usually takes 5-10 seconds to uninstall a 40mb apps before, but now it take 15seconds+ to uninstall a 4mb apps, seems like it lag a while then only start to run

Everyone's joining the phablet game:

5.7", 3200mAh, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 !!!!
BUT only 720p, no active digitizer. For the rest, it's just "get a bigger screen"

I tried his steps. but at my own risk la.

My wifi is always on. i set when the screen is off, the wifi will disconnect.

but when i check. My wifi from morning until now full blue bar.

How to ensure your phone is in deep sleep and nothing is disturbing it ?

When i dont use my phone, i do see it awake a few times but nothing major i guess as i still get battery of more than 24hrs.

Just want to improve it. hehe.

Cheers to the TS and Battery pro @nehalem176

nehalem176 looks like the Viber settings need to uncheck and not checked. Immediately after I unchecked it again, the "awake" bar disappeared.

By default, it is already unchecked.

Why you are so sensitive. Did you not read what i wrote over there??? I said thanks for your time. Did i ever sound that i demanded the help...

Bro, stop becoming a god, you are just a TS who works for nothing but updating your arrogant page 1...No one needs to seek your permission to get help here...... whistling.gif

Again, i only remind nehalem176 that i already sent him my bbs dumpfile and is up to him to reply me or not...no obligation, then why you so kepoh, kepoh buat apa???? hmm.gif
*
If you can remind for a reply, why can't he remind you of that? It is because of your insolence and your unwavering obnoxiousness that no one bothers to reply you.

Am I being 'kepoh' enough?

Oh you mean Viber>Settings>Use Systems Sounds - leave unchecked?

This means the default Viber sounds will be used? Awww that sucks.

Mine is because I went and tried nehalem176's suggested option on Viber, it seems it didn't work well but worsened my situation. laugh.gif
Now looks pretty normal to me. smile.gif

I think BBS only works with rooted phones. hmm.gif

I think Viber is well known for battery juice sucking..
If I remember correctly, similar draining was also observed when i was using iPhone before

Yes, it was listed as a naughty app for battery life, along with Skype. Hopefully the situation has improved.
