According to newegg MY, they will only charge RM80-100 for RMA which includes shipping cost to the US. They will absorb the return shipping fee from the US to MY.

Since local price here is too steep around RM2.6k SRP I think what newegg MY offers is a better bargain.

You can save the money for a good SSD already or maybe a third party cooler or waterblock for 780.

i look at it whatever more u pay u will gain the exact difference on resale value as oppose to buying from newegg and getting lower resale value and then having the rma risk.

different case though for those who use their gc's for few years.

I was thinking that, since it already have factory OC and even same price tag., but I love the original cooler, this is hard to choose actually.
that Gigabyte cooler is fine, of course the reference Nvidia cooler are sexy.
I also wait the MSI GTX780 then make decision which to go for.

dude overclocking headroom is kindda big
even the worse i have see does 1175

i always prefer ref because it exhaust air out of the casing n nothing so far comes close to the one used on the 770/780 and titan.

but up to u guys
the gaygay ref cooler no difference than artic cooling to me. but u cannot buy a ref cooler.

u guys need to c it for ureself.

it just means it has a higher tdp

same lar those mod bios on gtx680 that allows the max 225watts board limit and bios at 195watts with two 6pin

now u get another 75 watts

so looks like the card gonna fly

Well it has issues with my 780. Comp on 24/7. notice in my g19 clocks are always on full mode n then evga precision fail. Then cannot restart. Close hwinfo n restart it will hang at gpu info. Sometimes will bsod at this point.

Reverted back to 314 with mod config for gtx780 no issue.

same problem again with 320.18.

the issue is after a few days for no reason u will see whatever sensor reading from gpu will fail and then will lag .

really odd.

coming from 7970ghz and 690 before which together ran for nearly 1 year 24/7 no issue.

Still no news of new driver, I will take the risk to install back to 320.18 if my card have permanent problem later on, I will just send it to RMA, and while waiting I will just buy an AMD card and use it, hopefully by the time it is back from RMA, ASUS will change it to GTX790, assuming if does take too long and GTX790 come out already LOL
*
doesnt work like that dude

rma now is on a global que system for asus

say u card is faulty. it will be sent back to be fixed. assume theres a few gtx690 being fixed etc. based on ure que when one is fixed u get it. so it will not be ure exact card.
same for motherboard.

everything can be fixed unless u killed the cards core. VRAm are cheap to fix.

Since I posted benchmark results for Valley 1.0 couple days back, here are results for Heaven 4.0; Overclocked GTX 780

Zotac GTX 780 (Reference design/Titan cooler)
Driver: 320.14
i7-3770K @ 4.6GHz
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Air-conditioned room

Note; Target temperature was set at 94*C but the card never exceeded 86*C under Heaven's load
Note; As with my previous post's attached images, ignore GPU-Z and Unigine's results showing 320.18 driver, I am on 320.14 but used 320.18's nv_disp.inf file to force install the 320.14 drivers (or else you'll get the no device found/incompatibility error prompt)

Unigine Heaven 4.0
Preset: Custom | Ultra Quality | Extreme Tessellation | 8x AA | Full Screen | 1920x1080

Images;
1. Zotac Firestorm | Overclocked settings
2. Unigine Heaven 4.0 | Benchmark results

You mean the previous 320.18 driver?

I also just rolled up to the new 320.49 from the so-called problematic 320.18 driver, but I observed no performance improvement.
*
yup.

just think it was a nfo update for 760.
