HTC is slower because of the heavy integration of sense into the android.

its not just some visual change but a lot of functionality change, that could affect the stability and security of the software.

after integrate they need a longer period of time for testing before public release, that the reason we cant compare the update speed with official google or any other manufacturer.

i believe its similar to PPI theory. like high resolution in smaller screen = higher ppi = sharper image.
this 4mp = small screen, more color/pixel pack into smaller space = sharper image

imagine a waiter there with salary of USD2k salary each month, can buy the phone outright using 1/4 of their salary, compared to us a degree holder with RM2k salary, you need 2-3 month to buy the phone, so they delay 1-2 month for us to save more $$

there are a lot more reason like our telco not keen in bringing this device, you will see that beside iphone, our local telco will release the plan for other phone after weeks or even months we get the phone from local phone shop.

the phone will have no or poor signal if full metal.

they are combining the white thing(non metal meterial) into the metal which make zero gap between them, which mean its very smooth which might just look like a line design draw into the metal.

This is not true, quad core 1.9ghz not mean total processing power is 1.9ghz, it can from core 0 to core 3 goes upto 1.9ghz. It depend on the processor configuration.

Increasing of 200mhz on same processor will not increase much performance in real life usage, only in benchmark you will notice it.

actual usage only uses 4 cores, it wont use 8 cores together.

it actually more than marketing gimmick to advertise 8 cores to normal consumer, in fact they just have a poor power efficiency high speed quad core, so that slap in old tech quad core for battery saver.

those editing software and 3d gaming will need it.
for normal users, they might end up utilize the few year back processor technology for today, with a powerful processor sleeping inside.

normal daily apps dont need 1.8ghz A15 processing power, maybe a 800mhz A15 will do, this is what current snapdragon configuration their processor for battery saving, lower clock / core for low processing demanding application, with lower power consumption.

Samsung does not use this method but add another obselate 4 cores inside, maybe their processor need high power consumption even on lower speed.
