never go in the HTC store but i see outside looks like most of them are dummy unit , even klcc samsung and nokia and sony got demo unit to play...

Well same thing affect One S last year too
Suppose to launch with Snapdragon S4 but yield rate sucks so they launch with Snapdragon S3 instead

For some reason i don't know why, no matter how great HTC are, like this ONE for example, still many of smartphone users out there still doesn't really accept the brand... Sigh. This is sad news too.... maybe, it's TOO MANY of Sammy and Fruit users out there. With their word of mouth, enough to destroy HTC hardwork. But for people who still considering which phone is better, IMHO, this is the ONE. IT's worth to wait for...

are u a photographer? why do u buy into the megapixel myth?

like i said, nobody views their photos at 100% zoom, nor 200%.
they just snap , upload to instagram or facebook.

if you're gonna bring photography enthusiasts / professionals into the picture, they have their dslr for that job.
zooming at 100% is only an excuse to say that 4mp is bad compared to 8mp.

no no.. main factor for sharpness is the quality of the lens... High megapixel = bigger size picture.. it could be a soft large size picture.. but it doesnt contribute to sharpness...here the lens plays a significant role.

people want the best out of everything on their phone because they do not like to carry extra weight around .. eg : battery packs, handheld camera, mp3 players, etc..

apple ios win in user friendly. android is more like we power user

Higher MP will result higher res for printing, but in d sametime introduce alot noise too which reduce sharpness (also depend the imaging processing how heavy they reduce the noise).

Unless u r talking bout higher sensor size which already proven in Nikon D800/D800E. Still dislike high megapixel. Camera 10-16mp good enuf for me.

Do some research online on the toughness of the HTC ONE's build quality. Most if not all reviewers who complained about the iphone 5's aluminium being scratched easily were also worried about the same issue when they received the HTC ONE. They however, have found that the HTC ONE is much much more resistant to scratches and scuffs as compared to the iphone 5. One reviewer even went to the extent of banging his test unit on the table the moment he unboxed his HTC ONE. The result was that it looks and sounds solid.

The chamfered edges on the iphone 5 was also an issue. But again, most reviewers if not all, have mentioned that the chamfered edges on the HTC ONE looks and feels to be of a more robust design and construct.

So there you have it

btw - I know how fragile the iphone 5 is. My friend was so excited about her iphone 5 but it...... BENT within 2 weeks of usage. She complained and got a new replacement unit, and is currently happy about her iphone 5

then that would be a pretty bad justification of why you should not buy the One. because a lot people are giving it a good thumbs up in terms of the build quality of the Htc One. and you're not the only one. I too am having a hard time of thinking whether to get the s4 or one. But one thing is for sure, I will wait for more reviews and would most likely not purchase it on the first day it's launched like what I used to do.
