QUOTE(Something Else @ Mar 26 2013, 04:38 PM) From what I've read on XDA, Handtec seems to be a very trusted site, with many people buying from there. Seems like a good deal to me, the only thing is the warranty. I'm not sure how that would work QUOTE(benny888 @ Mar 26 2013, 04:51 PM) I bought from Handtec once. Phone arrived without custom hold up. Not so lucky with from Clove UK, once holdup n another time pass through smoothly Oh, ok, thanks for the information. They are established reliable online sellers Warranty back to them. Don't think HTC has international warranty. It is listed in their terms n conditions |

QUOTE(jloi @ Mar 27 2013, 12:21 PM) thanks. but as far as we concern it is impossible for 4k res in small screen. Even cinema screen using 4k Cinema different, the screen so big, it do required, and 4k HD was welcome for more than 100" TV, as current Full HD is not really that sharp and details in TV bigger than 100".future who know Using any Ultra HD in phone was madness, I don't think it will happen for now and no point release it. QUOTE(Nephrite @ Mar 27 2013, 12:23 PM) Tell me what the point release Ultra HD on phone? Can you differentiate it? You only need more power hunger CPU + GPU to proper running it.Even current higher Nexus 10 tablet which was 2560x1600 also not really reach 4K requirement, and it was far than enough already. |

QUOTE(jloi @ Mar 27 2013, 12:27 PM) This I agree, it may only appear when 4K record was common. Actually I rather they all go invest on new battery type. Current battery is nearly cannot handle already. I want a battery that can last long me standby at least 4 days, or a week was better. Battery technology was so oudated. QUOTE(jloi @ Mar 27 2013, 12:31 PM) personally i am not that hype up on screen res. It is small screen afterall. my comp 22" with 1080p also very satisfying. Good enough for my daily job to edit photos and videos. Ya, battery need to reborn. Not sure why battery tech is so weak. Motorola is the only 1 seem successful packed large battery into slim body QUOTE(waveweaver @ Mar 27 2013, 12:34 PM) Heard they been testing solar charge battery. It will trickle charge the battery via the phone screen when you leave it idle under sunlight. Hopefully something better is out soon, battery need new innovation.QUOTE(Nephrite @ Mar 27 2013, 12:36 PM) Nevermind you will know in future. Once either one of the phone brand launch UHD then all the rest will follow even the people in this world don`t need it but they surely will launch it cause they want to be the ones which top in the league. 1080P appear to kick of 720P is nothing surprise me. 720P is a strip down standard that not meat the actual standard of HD.Last time people say 3D eats up alot of battery but see what happen they even launch 3D phone so this UHD is possible happen. See the 720p display only launch few month only 1080p already launch to kick down 720p. Do we need 1080p on phone ? People say no and these phone brand also still continue to launch it out. CPU and GPU hunger don`t worry their engineer is much more pro than u all and they already figure out this before even we knew it man. Don`t under estimate them and the processor is 28 nm only its not even hot. If it la 40 nm then i believe it will hot. Intel is launching glass technology on year 2019 with 4 to 8k display on a name card size only and we people don`t need it but why they still wan`t to launch it and have all this kind of vision ? Ya, 3D phone was out but it never demand in market. You already said lo, Intel is launching glass technology on year 2019. It still 6 years to go. QUOTE(Nephrite @ Mar 27 2013, 12:43 PM) You got display, no power CPU+GPU to handle, no point also. Also by using 4K video record, I think minimum internal storage for a phone needs 1TB. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Mar 27 2013, 12:44 PM |

Philips do out a crazy outstanding battery before on it Xenium series which can last long standby a month but that technology seems own by Philips only and Philips is dead at phone market.
Then I never seen any manufacture out any cool battery anymore. Philips last phone was Android and last long 17 days standby out in year 2011. http://www.phonearena.com/phones/Philips-W920_id6668 This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Mar 27 2013, 05:53 PM |
