QUOTE(Azureknight94 @ Mar 22 2013, 08:10 PM) True but could be their chance to earn $$ since losing to Samsung in hp business. The tablet side this year very quiet. Nothing impressive so far apart from the Sony tablet Z. Most probably nexus 7 2 will be the one to watch out for. Oh well OT already. All the reviews about this phone are great now just the availability sigh Once HTC manage to market one product successfully then its brand name might shoot up. Look at Samsung..before SGSII they were only a mid player. Their success in SGSII brings Samsung brand name to a top player now. I really hope HTC can do that with this One but sadly it looks like they miss their boat already. They should do better in marketing department next year.

QUOTE(ivn79 @ Mar 22 2013, 09:27 PM) Somehow I felt it's very hard for HTC to compete with Samsung i think, it's bcome some kind of trend oredy. Because for example, ALL, yes i can say ALL of my ladies colleagues who are using Android, ALL of them are using Samsung. Samsung won words of mouth among this categories of people. More and more are getting Samsung. And you know what, they don't know anything about processor or ram or something when i asked them. I say why not HTC? Some of them even don't know what kind of brand it is. The same thing can be said about iPhone trend before this. But Samsung can change with their SGSII success. The very same thing can be done by HTC if only their marketing dept do their jobs right. Right now a lot of ppl waiting eagerly for this One phone. Even hardcore Samsung user also likes to give this phone a try. But...delays surely dampen all the exiciting. More delays will make this potential user moves away to whichever brand available in the market. All HTC need is one huge success in its product and I believe ppl will start following a new trend.

QUOTE(OC4/3 @ Mar 23 2013, 07:26 PM) Friends who ask me which phone to buy and they have Samsung in mind,i always sway them away Recently just recommend Xperia TX and manage to make someone buy One X instead of S3 I am probably the biggest anti Samsung guy you can ever find I only pick the best phone that suits my needs. No matter what brand it is. Many fanboys are so childish.

QUOTE(SnailWithFingers @ Mar 24 2013, 11:03 PM) but sadly that's not enough for me ya...but somehow my 2020 mAh battery finishes faster than iphone 5 1440 mAh why le?? I think because of bigger screen consumes batt faster? When you not using your phone for browsing..disable your data network. Your call and msg still can get through and you save your battery usage. Unlike Samsung where your MMS cannot get through without data network..HTC phone can.

QUOTE(joelucas91 @ Mar 25 2013, 12:34 AM) Whatsapp, viber and skype would not be able to get through though. Yup..cannot Disable you data when you don't want to use all those networking lar..exp like wanna go to sleep. Beside..you not going to chat all day..right.? If you need long chat that need to use whatsapp..let you friends sms you first then only you enable your data. Finished chatting..disabled your data again. QUOTE(joelucas91 @ Mar 25 2013, 12:49 AM) Man, I totally agree with you. But some people must have a constant data connection even when they sleep. So just mentioning it in case they jump the gun misunderstand. Cheers Unless you're a doctor..or a PM..or international stock brokers that need constant data connection..there's no points to enable you data network 24/7. Your 3G connection is more than enough...lolz

All depends on how we use our phone. If we go browsing non-stop then be prepared for less than 5 hours before the full battery goes kaput.

QUOTE(Azureknight94 @ Mar 25 2013, 07:22 PM) Btw just wondering has anyone tried liquid armor screen protector? Saw some people selling in garage sales. Definitely would be nice if it works. No sp + 1080p screen. Awesomeness Many Note2 user use LiquidAmour for their phone as putting a casing over the phone tend to make those Note2 much bulkier.

QUOTE(hengmy @ Mar 26 2013, 12:51 AM) many country still cant get this phone. from my experience, its take few months to get a almost bug free CM rom to work with new HTC devices, i am not sure about other brand because HTC sense was the most deep integrated 3rd party software into android. CM always have bugs one..that's why they release nightly version to iron things out. Then comes RC follow by stable version.
