Photo Comparison of HTC One v/s Nokia 808 v/s Nokia Lumia 920 v/s Nokia N95.

and here is my view:
808 only great when zooming in (good for cropping), but when look all photos without zoom, 808 can't really show it details as seems sharpness was gone, I though 808 was really good, also the color look a bit dull. It kind of disappointing to me. It was good for snap far object as it still the only phone camera can did this.

Lumia 920 color somewhere not correct.

N95 still good even this was an old old phone.

HTC One is the sharpen (even though it seems was post processing sharpness enhanced by HTC) and clear in every photo when view without zoom in, due to it 4MP limit, you can't zoom in the photo for cropping as it look bad once zoom.

iPhone 5 - still look good.

Xperia Z - totally out, sharpness details all gone, Sony need to stop high compress mechanism use, it was over compress till details not there.

HTC One - still the best in sharpness, probably due to it capable catch more light and big F (aperture), need to be careful when snapping, I notice certain bright area will slightly over expose (2nd batch photo quite obvious on the sign board below part) compare with others.

Summary: HTC One winner here.

Summary from the reviewer.

1st group
- HTC One white balance the best, more 3 dimensional feel.
- Color reproduction still iPhone 5 nearest to actual.
- Xperia Z comment cancel due to the tester set wrong white balance.

2nd group
- iPhone had better 3 dimensional but it can't show the interior, almost dark.
- Xperia Z had better color saturation.
- HTC One less vibrant.

3rd group
- iPhone 5 accurate white balance.
- HTC One better depth of field (DOF).
- Both HTC & iPhone 5 can produce sharp and details.
- Xperia Z is more soften, less details. (like wipe off)
* My Opinion - Xperia Z like lost it macro fucntion, the flower was so blur.

4th group
- iPhone 5 cannot generate the golden feel, look a bit dull.
- HTC One is more balance in this group, produce most near to actual object.
- Xperia Z comment cancel due to the tester set wrong white balance.

HDR
- The most obvious different was HTC, it can showing out the details and maintain the 3 dimensional.
- Xperia Z & iPhone look dull after on the HDR.
* My opinion - Xperia Z HDR look terrible, HTC One HDR was outstanding, this is the correct HDR suppose.

Panorama
- HTC & iPhone both look natural, but HTC pixel count less than iPhone.
- Xperia Z unnatural look.

I not agree on this, Xperia Z output totally out nearly every part. (The reviewer also said this - check my above post summary)

It was iP5 >= One > Z

I check a lot phone camera review recently, Xperia Z output really let down, I am so surprise how bad it was.

Ya, it was. Xperia Z camera output was not good. Lucky I decide not buying Z at the end, beside pretty, the LCD panel not impress me, loud speaker not impress me, now few camera review also show it not really good. From sample, even my S III can take much sharpen and better photo.

From previous review/talk I seen, only HTC One and Nokia 808 can did great concert video record.

I can't remember already, it is from one of the video I seen. If not wrong because it got multiple mic.

Ya, they are beating the Nokia 808.

If they put in at least 8MP Ultrapixel, then high possible win 808, now they got zoom in issue. Without zoom was perfect even sharpen than 808, but after zoom, different story.

haha! if they do this this year! a lot will say bye bye to HTC.

Next year possible la.
