QUOTE(AstonCheah @ Mar 28 2013, 10:47 AM) it's normal, i've seen it in s2,s3,n2.. over and over.. the haters will just bash whenever new device launching (especially samsung flagships). but when reviews show positive, they keep quiet...slowly adapt to it... then some of them from haters become lovers..and..................they bought it.... (they forgot what they have said, pretending nothing happened..) so dont bash them back. just sit and enjoy what they say It is not a question of retaliation, if you will. This is a forum. All are free to post. But if they post irrelevant, misleading information not to mention totally unsubstantiated observation, it cannot but invite comments against them. Then they make it worse by hitting back with more unnecessary remarks. That's the gist of the issue.

QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Mar 30 2013, 10:22 AM) non-removable battery phones are normally slimmer One of the reasons if not the main one they have non-removable battery is for build quality.

QUOTE(soulseeker6187 @ Mar 30 2013, 01:07 PM) U are wrong the main reason to go with non-removeable battery is to milk more money from customer. if the battery died, user have no chance to change by themselves. they have to send back to the manufacturer and they will charge exorbitant price for a battery change. I will just say this. You do not have to go back to the manufacturer to change the battery.

QUOTE(LordDenning @ Mar 30 2013, 07:21 PM) but with phones like HTC One, it's almost impossible to fix it yourself or sending it to a 3rd party shop that fixes phones.. Am even wondering how are HTC going to repair the One when people start sending it back to them because of malfunctions/other damages to the phone.. http://www.phonearena.com/news/HTC-One-the...-iFixit_id41319Huh? Were we not talking about the replacement of the battery? Just for this, I believe there will be independent technicians who will be able to do this.

QUOTE(LordDenning @ Mar 31 2013, 12:39 AM) then that should be a little less concerning to those who are about to purchase the htc one. Like everything, we must look at the bigger picture. In that way, one would not be deemed as brash.

QUOTE(joelucas91 @ Mar 31 2013, 02:36 PM) On GSMarena or some other websites. I recall reading about it online too. I also read somewhere online too. However, in relation to such things, we have to wait when it actually comes before we can know for sure.

To whom it may concern.
You guys finally came out vociferously against his posts. The thing is this, it is alright to post about one's likes and dislikes but when done inappropriately, it gets annoying. I have held back many a time to further controvert but when one has no inkling of his flaws, I wouldn't waste my time on him.

QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Apr 1 2013, 06:30 PM) he has been doing it ever since the S4 thread emerged no end to his rant funny thing is how he still hang out in this thread, prasinng some Samsung features and condemn it at the same time, trying to play neutral... so many of us have told him off in the past... you are definitely not the first one so cheers! To you and @giovanni. I reiterate, anyone can post, this being a public forum but one should at least be wary of what one posts. But he is just remorseless. His last reply to my post is typical of it. And both you guys are now actually echoing what I have said 'ages' ago. Well, if he persists, he will surely get more flak from others eventually. So, I am just standing by the sideline to observe unless he gets way overboard.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 1 2013, 09:52 PM) My only complaint is the poor audio quality through its speakers ; is even worse than Nexus 4. However I have installed an audio mod and it has improved tremendously but still loses out to say Note 2, Butterfly The other minor issue which I have come to accept ( similar to Nexus 7) is the display quality - colors are not so vibrant and contrasts are not so great. You can see the difference if you are used to Amoled, HTC LCD displays. i have no problems with viewing angles as this I think only affect JDC display more not Sharp display as on mine. even if it is an issue to some, it is still a non issue to me Thanks. I have read most of your reviews in the XZ thread. If there are no options, perhaps this phone is a good bet. However, since there are and one or two suit my preference, I will probably opt for one of them.

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Apr 5 2013, 10:09 AM) Wireless charging only good if your phone have water or splash proof features where the charging port are using flaps that troublesome to open like XperiaZ or Butterfly. For Samsung phones..direct charging much easier and faster Wireless charging will definitely be slower.

QUOTE(herojack41 @ Apr 7 2013, 01:10 AM) what is trolling? I say is some cheap flimsy plastic but some people say is not mang...so I say is it hard like HTC backcover? i want to see....can do some experiment on how much it can bend? And you asked why I call you a jerk? When you say something harsh, it must be with substantiation, without which you are just being contemptuous.
