it's normal, i've seen it in s2,s3,n2.. over and over.. the haters will just bash whenever new device launching (especially samsung flagships). but when reviews show positive, they keep quiet...slowly adapt to it... then some of them from haters become lovers..and..................they bought it....   (they forgot what they have said, pretending nothing happened..)

so dont bash them back. just sit and enjoy what they say

non-removable battery phones are normally slimmer

U are wrong

the main reason to go with non-removeable battery is to milk more money from customer.
if the battery died, user have no chance to change by themselves.
they have to send back to the manufacturer and they will charge exorbitant price for a battery change.

but with phones like HTC One, it's almost impossible to fix it yourself or sending it to a 3rd party shop that fixes phones.. Am even wondering how are HTC going to repair the One when people start sending it back to them because of malfunctions/other damages to the phone..

My only complaint is the poor audio quality through its speakers ; is even worse than Nexus 4. However I have installed an audio mod and it has improved tremendously but still loses out to say Note 2, Butterfly
The other minor issue which I have come to accept ( similar to Nexus 7) is the display quality - colors are not so vibrant and contrasts are not so great. You can see the difference if you are used to Amoled, HTC LCD displays. i have no problems with viewing angles as this I think only affect JDC display more not Sharp display as on mine. even if it is an issue to some, it is still a non issue to me

Wireless charging only good if your phone have water or splash proof features where the charging port are using flaps that troublesome to open like XperiaZ or Butterfly.
For Samsung phones..direct charging much easier and faster
