Hi, I have the following engine mods:

1. K&N drop-in filter
2. VS
3. Firestorm

If you want to do the mods, I suggest K&N filter + Firestorm for better driveability at low revs though it is not really "quantum leap" performance but compared to stock, a little bit better.

Forget VS, you will not be able to feel any difference. Got "conned" on that but then buy already hopefully battery can last longer.

The next mod I am going to do is to change to 16" rims & new tyres because I think this will give greater effect than mods 1~3 that I have done.

Mods 1~3 is like taking some Red Bull, Vitamins or Brands Essence of Chicken - expensive for a little boost. Changing to lighter rims is like wearing a pair of lightweight running shoes compared to wearing a pair of heavy safety workboots while running. biggrin.gif

Happy New Year to you too! The Firestorm is still performing. The best effect can be seen after a long outstation drive. Smoother & now FC ave 8~9 km city drive. biggrin.gif

My observation on Shell vs Petronas:

1. Shell - better power, higher engine noise
2. Petronas - lower power, lower engine noise

Shell + Petronas mix = better power & lower engine noise or lower power & higher engine noise? rclxub.gif

and there are lots of brand out there in the market, make sure to test it out before buying, or you end up paying more but minimal effect

and just to make sure NO WIRE Tapping or cutting or whatsoever during installation biggrin.gif
