Ah_bear,
You have been here for quite some time and share a lot of knowledges to the fortezens here. I really appreciate a lot what you have done in this forum. Once of the reason I always read this forum because having people like you.

And I hope you didn't mean to twist the sentence I meant here. Or maybe you misunderstood. When we read sentence, we read whole sentence to understand.

"Now we talk about mercun. You can sell mercun beside Orsen... Sure untung banyak."

Everyone know what I mean here. See the bold... I am asking him to sell mercun with Orsen at the same time. And that will earn even more.

You can say my English poor, but dont simply make conclusion that I am rude to others.

Yes. I always respect public usage rights as what I always doing. Thanks for remind me.
*

I am not here to correct your English for you to improve your self-expression by words. I take your words at your 2nd last paragraph.

Young man, everyone see our replies and they know who is the one harsh and want to fight back.

Lets focus back to Forte sharing. Thank you.
*

Ermmm.. he is not young man wor.. old enough to become your eldest bro..

*cabutzzzz* rolleyes.gif

well sometimes learn to say sorry doesn't mean you are being belittled / forced by others to do so instead it's an appreciable action towards other ppl showing that you learn from your mistakes regardless minor or serious and becoming a better person.

that's all I wanted to say.. I am not gonna expect your reply quoting on this post again saying you never said smth wrong / I never read the whole sentence properly.

Back to Forte and KL TT topic.. ! tongue.gif

Sorry to bring this "hot" topic up again..

Btw, wanna ask something noob here.. When we coming down from genting, what is the best driving practice? I mean, use the shiftronic and keep switching the gear?
*

he lastly decided to put the bracket words as shown in the end so now it's already acceptable and showed some respect to the seller..

Regards to downhill driving, I may let the auto transmission auto downshift / upshifts to suitable gears in "D" to avoid overspeed provided the car carries only driver alone or with another front passenger. If fetching 4-5 person I will use paddle shift if other cars without paddleshift will engage "3" or "2" that helps on braking while downhill slowly all the time to avoid brakepads n disc brakes overheating / overhangus smell..

if gear engaged in "3" or "2", does it mean brake by gear?? is that will make the lifetime of gearbox turn down??
i know it will more safety by enganging low gear as in karak highway long2 ago signboard, "jalan curam, gunakan gear rendah" (if i'm not mistaken la)  tongue.gif
*

turning down abit of gearbox lifespan is better than unable to reduce speed promptly during sudden braking at unexpected sharp corner due to overspeed at high gear with vehicle heavy load. Consequences are dangering ppl's lives and car fall down from bukit tongue.gif yes our car may have traction control, but it doesn't guarantee safety if tarmac is wet and slippery..

keeping gear low could control the rolling downhill speed consistently to avoid rolling down too fast all of sudden..

it rely on engine braking with lower gear and higher revs (higher FC).. but u need to do that in order to drive safely..

Karak highway drive like normal at "D" at all times can liao coz it's not as steep as Genting curvy trails.. I even accelerates and drive at 110km/h when I am alone or I travel lightweight.. modern auto gearbox is smart enough to assist gear change depends on the road conditions..

you like that car.. ?
you shouldn't bring 3rd class Toyota product topic to be involved with honest specs and respectable Forte..

this so called "New Vios" is still using Jurassic age 1NZFE engine and 4AT.. the body shape and overall design doesn't resembles our Forte in anyway..

the engine bonet line doesn't accentuates design language of it's own character with the rest of body parts.. rojak car.. and front grille is direct cut and paste from their own Toyota Avalon from US and makes Vios buyers feels like buying "Premium Toyota" LOL..

hi guys,

been thinking to get a used Forte, anyway, which year produce the better Forte?

is 1.6L okay? or prefer to get the 2.0L ?

mainly for city drive + occasionally highway.
*

u may need to get Forte beginning of year 2011 (equipped with 6 speed gearbox with integrated bluetooth handsfree and reverse camera) which all these are not available on it's earlier production.

1.6SX is OK for primarily city drive usage.. just don't expect the Forte 1.6 liter N/A engine to perform stronger than a Waja/Satria Neo CPS.

went to see forte just now, tempting!  but the test unit already squeaking sound on driver inside opening door lever.  too bad. somehow the black shiny plastic on the steering and knob abit turn off.
*

was that test car 2.0 unit.. ? if I am not wrong, only 2.0 has black glossy steering finish and chrome door handle.. 1.6 still makes do with grey spray painted steering plastic..

so u mean they won't fix it coz it's normal? only one particular wheel, the driver side front negative about 1 degree
*

if it's more than -1.5 degree then inside sideway bunga will have slightly/uneven tire wear.. negative camber about -1.2 to -1.5 still wokay.. negative camber is good for better stability and handling..

if you are in doubt and you can't sleep well at night worrying about incorrect setup of your wheels you can always go to tayar shop and adjust the camber and toe to their experienced recommended settings.

normally default for optimal tyre wear with best straightline performance will be both wheel front camber -1 degree and both front toe in -0.05 to -0.09..
