for me the hopes is still there for the dock

cause when you see the unboxing reviews done
almost all consist of the same dimensional packaging

just by the look of the package in the amanz video
knew the dock is not included there

even the UK reviewer got the same type of package

i wana mentioned 1 thing here, after i read the comment section, he claimed that the display had the protector sheet removed by the sony store. and from the video, we can c the sony logo still present. i even asked him was he certain about it then he reply to me

so can we conclude that the production unit will have the logo printed on the body instead of the protector sheet? however personally im still not convince until sum1 will make a drop test or scratch test of the production unit, im sure they will take off the sheet and then the mystery will unveiled itself whether the logo is on the body or the sheet.

just wish MY got some pre-order offer, example 1st batch free dock.

I know. But what's the point of launching ZL when Z is gonna be more attractive? Besides, ZL itself indicates that it should be the one which has the better specs. No?

But I don't see any Japanese nor International variation here for both models. Do you?

I don't get it. Why not just focus on the selling of Z? I have a slightest thinking that ZL won't be a success

Japanese version of Xperia Z has slightly different UI (most notifiable on the lockscreen), and infrared remote sensor (to make the phone function as remote control, for TVs, DVDs, not sure about Astro box, maybe TS knows better). It has NTT docomo logo in front too.

actually all depends on the pricing of the ZL model. if the price different is big compare to Z, i will definitely go for ZL. i believe there r few members here also waiting for ZL.

reason? :

1. i dun like glass back of the Z.
2. i dun need water proof and dust proof, will happily exclude it for cheaper price.
3. dun like the covers on all the ports, annoying to me.
4. physical camera button always useful.
5. smaller size, but not so significant, only smaller by a bit.

unless sony is going to Premium the Z model like iphone strategy, if not, more variant of model will attract more customer and sell more unit, ideally.

but i c xperia ZL, it is better looking thn xperia Z

I think some if not most girls won't like ZL's camera position.
the camera will be at their chin level haha. Sony didn't think about this trivial marketing strategy.
