If people withdraw iSinar in November 2020, will they get a prorated dividend for Jan to Nov 2020 on that sum, or will they have to forego their dividend?
Btw I don't see iSinar having a huge problem. If anything, it reduces the cash amount and may well generate higher returns per dollar as a result. When does dividend announcement come out? I bet with colleagues it will be in range of 5.0 to 5.5% (they all say lower). {retty good returns given that Malaysia experienced deflation last year! |

5.2% is commendable. Especially since last year was deflation. So real returns is above 6%.

I support allowing members to withdraw. At most also we are talking about under 5% of epf assets.
Those who remain in will enjoy better returns as the funds cash level can drop. It will be less of a drag on returns. |

KWSP should cap interest to only the first RMxxx. Say the capping is at RM1mil. Meaning, amounts above RM1mil kept in EPF should be subject to no returns (i.e. must be returned back to unitholders). Or alternatively, provide board rate interest rates for those sums.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Dec 23 2021, 02:39 PM) I think I didn't make myself clear. Current system is good enough.BUT, if they want to penalize the whales, I personally feel it is better if they do a single cut-off, vs a progressive returns regime. The latter to me is just super unfair. |

QUOTE(kochin @ Jan 9 2022, 12:30 PM) saliva dripping out if it's true that it's 7-8%. Most likely will be between 5.5% to 6.5%. 7.0% to 8.0% would not "look good" for any of the other GLICs, even if such a return was actually warranted. EPF will much rather just keep it for the time being and smooth out returns in down years, or wait for an attractive large-scale IPO to pump money into.generally if EPF indeed manage to hit such figure, they should declare it as such rather than keeping it for rainy days. they are not a profit organisation and as such shouldn't even be keeping it for rainy days. |

The former who keep saying it’s out this weekend should be suspended. Spreading misinformation.

Guys how long before we can see monthly EPF contribution on the app? Say if company pay at 14th of the month, should we be able to see it immediately? Or after how long?
