I just found out from a friend that if your epf is more than 1 million, the dividend of the excess is way lower. Anyone can confirm that? And how much lower it is?
*
Ask him/her to provide the official EPF resource or portal link to substantiate this.

My current plan is to retire from full time job by 55 birthday. Then do something part-time (eg like 2 days a week) up to age 60 n above, depending on health.

Thats the plan at least.

Similar plan as I have, only that I aim for 56.
Can't stop working completely, otherwise the brain karat biggrin.gif

ini macam kah? money spent , the watch is still not yours?

like that teruk lah..
we dont own the cars we paid
we dont own the house we bought...

who own them then?
the penjaga kereta?
the penjaga rumah.....

what have we then... nothing, do we own our life?
the more the better
rezeki jangan ditolak

greed is you go fight for it
rezeki is  what `falls on your lap'.
why wanna retire just continue ma..
at that stage , you yourself may not need money any more
but people caring for you needs it
and you wouldn t even know it....

the medicines few hundreds a month,
a 24 hour companion few thousands a month
nursery home few thousands a month etc..

think positive
be thankful you have children to hand over your legacies.

Lets give the guy some time to perform. These roles are not for long term, they can be replaced anytime. The incumbent was from a different industry and still he did okay.

All those so called analyst 6.5% can throw dustbin already...

Really not logical at all....

Personally the maximum EPF can go is 6%

I won't be surprised it just hovering around 5.5 or 5.6
Just you guys don't get heart attack when the rates is announced 😜
*
Yeah, I think now better expect 5.xx
If announcement goes above 6 then its a really pleasant surprise.
All about managing expectations😞

so the deductions or caruman its already credited in epf based from the payslip salary shown? or the employer later they credit themselves?
*
Not necessarily, its up to the employer to comply with the EPF dateline for remittance of funds within the set dateline.
