Anyone know where or is it even possible to get past EPF statements (say for last 15-20yrs)?  Need to check accumulated dividends.

Called them today and surprisingly they can only furnish statements for the past 10yrs max.  Nothing more than that.  I thought EPF is one of the more efficient one, but in this area they are not  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

Thanks to Masters for the reply. As a small french fries, i cant stop but keep worrying about the future. There are so many uncertainties with the conditions with the  puke.gif  politics. but real, there is really nothing i can do. at least one thing i can do is stop worrying and DO what i can do.

EPF should retain at least 50% of the sum for gradually withdrawal during retirement.

I have seen many folks who are pittyful begging for monthly allowance from their children, after spending all their EPF saving, either for self use, or  family purpose.

I presume some will say yes n no
For me, I will say no bcoz I know how to manage my funds plus I blif discipline is important

I foresee EPF will accede to Putrajaya request to increase d % in A/C 2 which will trigger re-rating of selected property stocks listed in Bursa

Asking myself when I read the news this morning on EPF allowing members to withdraw more money for their houses, will that result in EPF having less money to invest?

Another question comes to mind, how much cash does EPF hold in their daily operation? Why? This money is not working for us at all! Ha.
*
'Buy 1st hse' contributed less than 5% of total withdrawal in 2015
Thus, I wud opined tat EPF have sufficient funds for investments n bau

Not long ago, the current KWSP CEO Sharil said that the dividend rate will be benchmarked as Kadar Inflasi + 2%.

Recently, our government announced that the current national inflation is 2%.

So, based on the above, we expect the Dividend yield to be 2+2 = 4%  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif Bersyukurlah! At least we are not being given dedak!

I presume EPF will try to maintain above 6% for 2016 if they plan to hold early election in 2017

Need advise on one question.

Im working fulltime and would like to contribute more than the 11% currently.

Should I ask my employer to do the extra deduction from my salary (which I know they wont do cos my HR is a bitch) or am I allowed to contribute myself monthly via auto debit from bank?  If pay ownself every month, do I need to inform them or fill up any form?

Thank you.

U can request your employer to perform the admin procedure instead of DIY

Thanks.

************************************

a. Eligible amount:
Minimum RM1,500.00 or RM250.00 per
month.
b. Payment Period:
Minimum of 6 months and maximum of 12
months
c. Payment Date:
25th of every month – as per Age 55 Years
Combination Withdrawal (Monthly Payment)
d. If the annual dividend is less than
RM1,500.00, the annual dividend application
will be automatically cancelled

***************************************

They transfer on the 25th of every month. Lugi mah, interest is calculated on the lowest monthly balance. Will be better if they allow us to specify the withdrawal date. 1st of every month will be the best for us to minimise dividend lost.
