The sales person on the phone told in such a way "Ok, if you take it by today and confirm your order now! I can give you etc...etc..." It wasn't stated online plus the other specs i wanted added up to a sum cheaper compared online. So straight away I said OK.

Hmmm you wanna know? But its a year old already so no point comparing anything or you're just gonna make me more depressed tongue.gif.

Anyway the basic specs were:

Inspiron 700M 745(1.8GHZ)
512 RAM(2x256 )
DVD-RW
60GB HD
8 Cell battery
Complete Cover 1 YEar.(Bargained for)
1280X800 Ultrasharp(If I recalled correctly)

Total for RM5122 14months ago.

The ThinkPad (whether branded as IBM or Lenovo) is one of the most reliable and steady lappies around... It's a good buy, that's for sure, while ignoring the rather plain and bland design! tongue.gif

hahaa well.. thinkpad's design is known to be boring and it is known to be solid for their designs... even the lappie retailer say... thinkpad all the same look.. square square.. black black.. lolx but after lenovo.. new designs are out... rounded corners.. and so on... right?
